I'd always waited fifteen to twenty minutes for anything from a single apple pie to a meal. Crowd levels matter too.

@@jackfood3319 yes, happened to me quite a few times especially for small orders like one apple pie. Had to go and ask them directly for it.
Yup, such organised assembly only happens in filming.

The only thing they don’t tell u or show u in reality the place is usually understaffed severely because people are always quitting- u get yelled at for not being fast enough, u get late lunch, maybe lunch and not all of ur breaks, it’s unsanitary to work there, underpaid, verbal abuse from angry costumers (besides ur manager), they’ll work u to the bone. Also, they run out of soap to clean the dishes so they use laundry detergent or just plain hot water. One time there wasn’t any hot water so they had to use cold water- grease and cold water don’t mix.

Now I know why my order number disappears but the food is nowhere near ready.
More like when your order is under the being prepared section, they haven't started yet. Then when the order is ready, they start preparing the food. Then when the order disappear they start packing your food.
Yeah I complained to McDonald's before. The number shows now serving but it's not even ready. What a horrible way to get their incentive. Paya Lebar Mc, I'm looking at you

I was thinking the same thing too. They just want their incentive and put inconvenience to us consumers.
I used to work at macs. Peak hour was quite insane with the limited crew, not really 11-15 ppl like what they say...
The 150s fast food incentive is abit skeptical, thats why the managers keep pushing out the orders as ready even though they are still prepping
one other thing ppl dont usually talk about is the pay rate ($7-8). it is absurd for the amount of work and stuff we have to put through in a customer facing role.
My place,at most only 8 workers. Then 3 busybodies aunties doing slow job at packing. Need to recheck like having OCD.
Got once at Funan Mac,my order was stolen by another person. Was already at the front & the staff say 'i gave out aready & i provide proof of receipt.
The manager apologised & i caught the person who stole my food. He just ignored me. Lmao

Nowadays all the McDonald's burgers and drinks are made in bulk and left there for a long period. If you have a special order, you need to wait at least 15 mins no kidding (no longer fast food LOL). The drinks are also most of the time diluted and no longer gassy. Oh and the fries getting lesser and lesser... sighhh
Ms Nur Fazillah seems very dedicated and takes pride at her work, Senja Heights Mac is lucky to have her running the show, kudos 🥰 !
For show only, ordered but didn’t even asked me if I want any sauce, always no sauces and sometimes even ‘forget’ to put items inside, when home to checked thn find out got missing items, nugget,happy meal toy etc . Worst outlet Waterway Point
Hi CNA, u forgot to include that Macdonald’s is also the largest real estate company as well 😅
Now I guess now we know why the franchisees have to dilute the drinks, downsizing the large fries to medium. It is to keep the bottomline and balancing all that food cost that gets thrown out. Eventually consumers are short changed for what we're paying for.
Compare to CAN soda , Carbonated beverage from soda machine making >3X profit

Same! I used to always ordered sweet and sour sauce, and was kinda sad when they have been discontinued. Lol, MCD SG is only limiting their already limited permeant sauces lol

When I bought Taiwan’s McDonald, they will only call out your number in the screen when your food is ready. Over here in SG 90% of the time, when they call out your number, your food is NOT READY. Your number is reflected READY FOR COLLECTION in the screen so just to hit the management KPI.
I got my food ready every time when my number was called out here.

6:17 to be fair, working at a McDonald's for 22 years don't mean anything about the nuggets, unless she worked in the nugget factory itself.
Only way is to bring us for a tour of the nugget factory itself, which probably won't happen.

Their claim is "100% white chicken breast meat" but it's really White boneless chicken, water, salt, seasoning (yeast extract, salt, wheat starch, natural flavoring, safflower oil, lemon juice solids, dextrose, citric acid), sodium phosphates. Far less than 100%

love In Singapore, you can work at an older age(im talking about that pizza guy); however, in Indonesia, they may retire you if you are between 50 and 55 years old. Additionally, the younger generation is often required to be under 25 to join big companies. This ageism in my country is truly disheartening.
more like in singapore, you're forced to not retire until an older age. the age to withdraw our cpf funds have increased, so it's a message saying we can't retire yet.

According to NEA, the stall occupancy rate of the food centre was about 90% last month, out of a total of 135 stalls.
Hawkers have to submit monthly rental bids during NEA’s monthly tender exercises to secure a stall there, Stalls are awarded to the highest bidder.

I'm from the PH, and when I visited SG and discover Curry sauce for nuggets, I HOARDED them! Like I'd probably be diagnosed with an unhealthy amount of hoarding disability
You guys have it lucky in Spore for the Pizza Hut pizzas. Here in Msia, the topping is so freaking little it is insulting. It is nothing like what they would have you believe when you watch the ads on tv. I'm not even talking about the cheese pull, it is like they just sprinkle a little bit of cheese etc and hoping it would pass off as a pizza. And they think children or youngsters would be 100% satisfied knowing they have eaten something hip. I have long given up on this chain restaurant and rely on the smkt frozen pizza instead. At least they have a decent amount of topping. If I want to eat restaurant pizza, I'd just eat it when I'm overseas instead... Where they are not so cheapskate with the cheese.
Pizza hut in Singapore and Malaysia are actually run by same Malaysian company, QSR Brand.
They call it the IDEAL CASE 😂

I waited 25mins after ordering only to find out my order was forgotten (I did interim enquiry but they said my order was still not ready) 150 seconds my foot.

Not inside/behind the scenes enough CNA. I thought you will show us how the chicken nuggets were made from scratch in the factory.

I gave up on McDonald's due to them not being honest in handing over my order. I always had items missing.
Their front line is always super slow especially those auntiesz/uncles. If you need to recheck too many times,don't work lah.
Take drink & fries also own sweet time. You can see so many food on the counter yet only 1 old age staff. The manager should be helping clear the counter because all these packer they will just keep packing.

Many of these young hawkers closed their stalls after a few months, due to a high starting rent and being unable to generate enough income to make ends meet.
Amoy Street Food Centre is one of the favourite dining spots nearby the Central Business District and is managed by National Environment Agency (NEA).
The ppl there are unhygienic (look at the sinks) and filled with rats.

Innovative part for McD, actually quite true if think back again. EVERY CNY you have prosperity burger. Then during raya for short while there was that foldover which I totally miss, but okaylah. Just go down Malaysia and get. They changed it with Rendang, still forgivable... But Deepavali? I cannot connect any burger flavours that gets me excited when it is Deepavali. I mean if they ventured Japan and Korean flavours, why forget Indian flavours? Afterall, Singapore has more Indians than Japanese and Koreans. I would love me some Chicken Tikka or Butter Chicken!
