I broke my upper arm and shoulder last May. I began applying Comfrey salve to my shoulder that I had made in November of 2022. I was out of my brace in two weeks, and out of my sling by the end of the fourth week. I did my own ‘therapy’ by just forcing myself to use my arm for my gardening and farm chores (within reason, of course😊)! I am 67 years old, and my ortho physician was quite surprised and pleased that I healed so quickly. I have full function of my shoulder and arm, and I am pain free. Praised be to God for His gift of herbs for healing! 😊☦️

Hi there. I got on your channel by accident because I been researching on castor oil. I just have a question my coworker did some movement that it cost her right shoulder 😐 a lot pain, I discovered on Barbara O'Neil channel that comfrey is very good to healing bone but I am leaving in and small town and I found a cream, plus I told her about castor oil packs. I spoke to her today she said she feels much better using comfrey but she told me she will be using today castor oil to see if may help with the pain. She is going to have tomorrow and procedure to see if may she has a fracture. I just would like to asking where can I found comfrey like a pure one. I would like to buy to have, also you said about a receipt with comfrey arnica and castor oil. Can you share with me this receipt?. Thank you so much for your videos. I love anything about healing natural. Best regards.

Years ago I was in a wreck that landed me in the hospital with splintered ribs, a broken fibula on one leg and mangled ankle on the other. I used comfrey poultices on my ribs and ankle and then...I don't recommend this but after 3 weeks I cut the cast off my broken fibula and wrapped it with comfrey poultice for three days and every night for a week... That was nearly 40 years ago it healed my broken body really fast.

Yes, that is what I thought it might be for the first couple of days of the extreme levels of pain even though I have never had it, my dad did struggle with it so I though it was very possible. So I was treating it as such, drinking lots of nettle tea and such but it only kept getting worse over a couple of days and I realized that it could not be gout. Besides, it did not come on suddenly, It started as a dull pain for the first 3 days, then suddenly turned to unbearable pain for the next two days. Once it dawned on me what I had done to it, proper treatment took care of it and it became even more obvious it was most certainly not gout

Well that's weird. My comment is gone....so I'll try to remember what I typed!
I'm very excited for the porkless pepperoni video!! I even have some turkeys in the freezer that I need to cook!
I purchased some of the T from Creekwood Naturals that last time you mentioned it in a video. Love that company!! I'm going to be making more of the vapor rub soon. If anyone hasn't made Heidi's recipe for vapor rub I highly suggest doing so! So easy and SO MUCH BETTER than the store bought crap.
I really need to start that wine making. I have another 20# of pears coming this week from Azure and I bet it would make fantastic wine. I've made vinegar and soda from them so far. I love to hear any other ideas you may have for them.

Ow, they hurt. May I suggest a comfrey poultice that I used for a broken wrist, nondisplaced.
I got a flannel baby blanket from the Dollar store and cut out a piece that would wrap around my wrist.
I took dried comfrey root, ground it and added castor oil to it and put it on the stove in a double broiler, on low and let it simmer about 2 hours. Let it cool. I laid out a piece of saran wrap, on top of that I placed a doubled paper towel making sure it was smaller than the saran wrap on all 4 sides. I spooned some oil and the grounded root onto the paper towel, let it saturate in, and with my husband's help I wrapped it around my wrist followed by the flannel cloth ( this was to soak up any excess that squeezed out. I had some old ace wrap clips so I secured it that way. I never had pain in the wrist unless I tried to use that hand. 2 weeks of this poultice overnight and I was 95% better. Why not 100%? I think because I should have done the poultice for at least another week. Also, I have full function and no pain, unless......I overdo using it for repetitive motions like kneading or lifting and hauling heavy things for an extended time. Just a tiny achy reminder that I did injure it 3 months ago.

Would this (or is there anything) that would help heal nerve endings or fluid build up due to spinal trauma? Long story…but in short; I had a spinal catheter removed and ever since have been in sooo much pain. I don’t like opioids but the pain is unbearable. So, I take the absolute minimum of Percocet to help me at least sleep. Surgery can’t do anything, it just needs to heal. Is there anything that could help this process? Turmeric and Ginger don’t help. Although the Ginger helps with the nausea from the Percocet. Like I said: I really don’t like taking those pills. Hi Heidi, In all the vinegar I make, the pH doesn't look like it goes below about 4. I use test strips with colors, so I can't be sure. But they definitely do not go as low as 3.0. Is it possible that I'm not adding enough sugar? Thanks for all your videos.

    • @RainCountryHomestead

Are you using universal test strips that go down to 0?
The amount of overall sugar is one of the main factors that will determine the final out come. However, if yours is not getting a low enough pH, I would not know if that is the issue without knowing what kind of vinegar you are making, how much produce or juice was used and how much sugar was added and the amount being made
