Regarding the crucifixion, it’s important to note that the accusations of blasphemy were made by his opponents and reflect their interpretation, not definitive proof of divinity. From an Islamic perspective, Jesus (peace be upon him) was a prophet and messenger of God who taught monotheism and submission to Allah, never claiming divinity (Surah Al-Ma’idah 5:116).
Furthermore, even if the accusation of blasphemy was rooted in his claim to being the Messiah (a title they largely rejected), that could also be considered blasphemy by their standards, as they did not accept him as a prophet or the promised Messiah.
