Was it really in space or in the spiritual realm?? Space consists of this physical realm, the planets, trillions of stars and billions of galaxies and it cannot be said the dwellings of those who have passed away is in this physical world, no, it is in the spiritual world. It must noted that Al asqa mosque in which prophet Muhammad led some previous prophets who have passed away was not in existence physically at that time. The foundations of the Al asqa mosque as we find it today was laid by Hazrat Umar when he first visited Jerusalem after it was conquered by the Muslims, it was then continued by Imam Malik and his successor until we find it today. In effect the Al asqa mosque was not in existence at the time of the night journey from Mecca to Jerusalem and so how was it possible that the prophet prayed in that mosque? Prophet Muhammad passed away before the Al asqa mosque was built and so he couldn't have prayed in that mosque as many Muslims of today understands it. The true fact was that the night journey from Mecca to Jerusalem was a spiritual journey or a vision and not a physical phenomenon. In the spiritual realm, it was possible for the prophet to have visited the Al asqa mosque and prayed with the souls of the departed prophets, But it wasn't possible in the physical sense, or in order words, it wasn't a literal journey as many Muslims of today erroneously believe it to be. Both the Isra. and the Miraj all took place in a vision and they weren't a literal phenomenon, and also they were two different events that took place separately .
To give a deeper analysis on a deen that was deemed to be complete basing on the realms you have not been to is a sign of a weak faith. If Allah took Issa a.s to heaven in physical form why do you doubt it for prophet Muhammad s.a.w. If it was in the spiritual realm why the need of Buraq an animal from Janna to carry him s.a.w from Mecca to Jerusalem. This event is a real test to our faith just as it was for those before us so we should be careful.

But this limitation is exactly what determines the conclusion that it was a spiritual journey, as the physical human body cannot withstand such extremes of travel as well as other physical needs.
The Quranic verse in Al Nisa verse 157 is likewise a spiritual exaltation of Nabi Isah and not a physical phenomenon. Many eminent Muslim saints interpret the verse to mean a spiritual exaltation and not physically hoisting up of a body towards Allah. Allah is a spiritual being and not confined to a a specific place and so the hoisting up of a physical body towards Him is not possible, and so it must be clearly understood that Nabi Isah is not physically residing in paradise with his body of flesh and blood. The holy Quran spelt out clearly that all prophets who preceded prophet Muhammad has passed away . Our physical body of blood and flesh is fit to live on this earth in accordance with Allah's laws of nature, the spiritual realm is meant for spiritual bodies or souls and not our perishable physical body . In like manner some Muslim commentators claim that Hazrat Idris was taken up physically to paradise and he has even been buried there. How can a human being who was created by Allah to reside and die on this earth be taken up to paradise and be buried there?? Do we have cemeteries in paradise or do paradise contain dead bodies?? All these matters are due to the misinterpretion of the verses if the Quran . How can Nabi Isah and Hazrat Idris be residing in paradise and the chief of the prophets lies buried on this earth?? All the prophets of Allah are all buried on this earth just like the chief of the prophets, Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa and non of them is residing presently in his physical body in paradise. Space journey? What?? It’s a spiritual journey because He (PBUH) ascended to various Heavens levels. I highly recommend searching more truthful knowledge.
Was it really in space or in the spiritual realm?? Space consists of this physical realm, the planets, trillions of stars and billions of galaxies and it cannot be said the dwellings of those who have passed away is in this physical world, no, it is in the spiritual world. It must noted that Al asqa mosque in which prophet Muhammad led some previous prophets who have passed away was not in existence physically at that time. The foundations of the Al asqa mosque as we find it today was laid by Hazrat Umar when he first visited Jerusalem after it was conquered by the Muslims, it was then continued by Imam Malik and his successor until we find it today. In effect the Al asqa mosque was not in existence at the time of the night journey from Mecca to Jerusalem and so how was it possible that the prophet prayed in that mosque? Prophet Muhammad passed away before the Al asqa mosque was built and so he couldn't have prayed in that mosque as many Muslims of today understands it. The true fact was that the night journey from Mecca to Jerusalem was a spiritual journey or a vision and not a physical phenomenon. In the spiritual realm, it was possible for the prophet to have visited the Al asqa mosque and prayed with the souls of the departed prophets, But it wasn't possible in the physical sense, or in order words, it wasn't a literal journey as many Muslims of today erroneously believe it to be. Both the Isra. and the Miraj all took place in a vision and they weren't a literal phenomenon, and also they were two different events that took place separately .

To give a deeper analysis on a deen that was deemed to be complete basing on the realms you have not been to is a sign of a weak faith. If Allah took Issa a.s to heaven in physical form why do you doubt it for prophet Muhammad s.a.w. If it was in the spiritual realm why the need of Buraq an animal from Janna to carry him s.a.w from Mecca to Jerusalem. This event is a real test to our faith just as it was for those before us so we should be careful.

It shouldn't matter to us how the isra and miraaj happened, as long as we believe what the prophet said. Our intellect is limited and we can only imagine within those limits. But this limitation is exactly what determines the conclusion that it was a spiritual journey, as the physical human body cannot withstand such extremes of travel as well as other physical needs.
The Quranic verse in Al Nisa verse 157 is likewise a spiritual exaltation of Nabi Isah and not a physical phenomenon. Many eminent Muslim saints interpret the verse to mean a spiritual exaltation and not physically hoisting up of a body towards Allah.
Allah is a spiritual being and not confined to a a specific place and so the hoisting up of a physical body
towards Him is not possible, and so it must be clearly understood that Nabi Isah is not physically residing in paradise with his body of flesh and blood. The holy Quran spelt out clearly that all prophets who preceded prophet Muhammad has passed away . Our physical body of blood and flesh is fit to live on this earth in accordance with Allah's laws of nature, the spiritual realm is meant for spiritual bodies or souls and not our perishable physical body . In like manner some Muslim commentators claim that Hazrat Idris was taken up physically to paradise and he has even been buried there. How can a human being who was created by Allah to reside and die on this earth be taken up to paradise and be buried there?? Do we have cemeteries in paradise or do paradise contain dead bodies?? All these matters are due to the misinterpretion of the verses if the Quran . How can Nabi Isah and Hazrat Idris be residing in paradise and the chief of the prophets lies buried on this earth?? All the prophets of Allah are all buried on this earth just like the chief of the prophets, Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa and non of them is residing presently in his physical body in paradise. The prophet sitting on a Buraq from Mecca to Jerusalem does not necessarily mean that it was a physical event, because there are instances of Muslims saints seen their compatriots sitting on horses in a vision or in a dream; does that mean that it was a physical phenomenon?? Umi Hani was the only person with the holy prophet during the event of the Israh, if it was indeed a physical phenomenon, then surely Umi Hani should have seen the Buraq together with angel Gabriel and the holy prophet with his own physical eyes but it didn't happen that way. I have also already stated that at the time of the Israh. the Al asqa mosque was not in existence, and so how could the prophet have physically entered nto the Al asqa mosque that was not in existence and prayed there together with some prophets who have passed away??
