i have an EG 3 hatch as my winter car here in germany, love this little honda with its cute 75hp. And despite the small 1.3l engine its a hell of fun to drife because of only 900kg of weight. And of course i have the kanjo plates on my doors ;)
Definitely a good car a EG6. Wish there was budget space for a B16A. The sound of it revving to the redzone is like a lion roaring. Shingo Shoji would be proud.

There is an easy way to make D13 much more alive, two carb mods, one vacuum lane, and drilling something out from the throttle linkage, which should give you back stock power - 83HP. It was detuned in Europe for tax reasons or whatever, same like D14 in 6 gen, 1.4 in Nissan Sunny and some others for sure.
I dont know if you can even kill the 1.3 d series. I had a blue EG hatch a few years back, and i was gonna swap the engine (sold it to a really hyped guy instead) so i just let it redline from cold for like 5 minutes every morning in winter to heat it up inside, hahahaha. NO issues ever, running great
Go for racing style ! Nightride is not about how beuthifull car is , it's about how fun to drive it, so make it for yourself to have really nice time in the nightrides or events 🖤
You know in indonesia, we called that estilo, it was very popular car for racing and the price in here are skyrocketing because of high demand of that car, people usualy swap the engine with B16R or B18 for more perfomance and go for an race in the circuit

1.3 liter is cery sick engine you should swap one carb to dual carb from concerto.
