- The following is a voice memo that I initially recorded for myself while brainstorming ideas for a video. However, as I started speaking, it transformed into a deeply personal and unfiltered stream of consciousness.
I felt compelled to share this raw and vulnerable moment with you, without any edits or alterations, in the hope that it may resonate with those who have experienced similar emotions or insecurities.
By opening up and sharing my innermost thoughts, I hope this creates a space where we can connect and support one another in our shared human experiences.

A lot of the pressure we put ourselves under is self created, this is both good and bad!

One of the things I've learned is that part of that pressure we put on ourselves is cultural. I'm a second generation Japanese American. My mom came to the country about 5 years before I was born. I place a lot of pressure on myself to get things done and succeed. When you get a chance, look at Maslow's hierarchy of needs and self-actualization that's helped me be emotionally healthy regardless of the challenge. I love watching your journey thank you for being vulnerable. 💪

I subscribed to so many channels on Japan that I now rely on TH-cam to show me videos of the channels I subscribed to 😅😅 and yours popped up today with the Mikimoto Pearl island video
I was looking for videos on Japan last year when TH-cam recommended one of your videos to me and I subscribed to your channel immediately. I may not clicked the "LIKE" button for most of the videos I have watched then but I do like and enjoy your videos 😊, yours are in fact one of the better ones I have come across
I was a perfectionist like you in the past, the best thing I did for myself was to acknowledge that I am not perfect and that I am not unique in a world filled with billions of individuals in my 30s, and that I just need to do my best in whatever I do and that will be enough 😅😅
You're luckier than me to realize and acknowledge this in your 20s, you should encounter less mental turmoil as a result and be happier 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Btw, your videos are not cringe worthy, I like them very much. Keep up the good work even if the view counts are not as many as you hope for
