Hi john well done again found another codlin and a fat haddock that will be the best bit of haddock you're ever likely to eat totally fresh and caught yourself yummy. My new second hand diff arrived this morning has a year warranty on it now all I have to do is get under and get it swapped in and I'll be on my way back up the holderness. @@Auqalungangler hello Robin 👋 Hope you are well buddy glad you got your vehicle sored out👍 That Haddock was cracking to eat there as been a couple caught by others to 2lb plus that would be nice I managed to sneak another small codling there are a bit thin on the ground along the Holderness very patchy so happy to catch one we do need a small blow up on the coast to bring some fish back in. hello john, I hope you had a fantastic xmas. you said that you don't think you are catching s much as you used to, let me stop you there I have been following you for a little while now and think that you do reasonably well. you use good bait concoctions, and present the bait well! furthermore you cannot catch what is not there. the modern trawlers with their high tec gear, camera's watching what goes into the net and gauges that weigh the catch before its brought onto the deck. catching hundreds of tons of fish in one go. not leaving much for the poor old shore anglers to catch you don't do too badly. take care john, regards to tina and thomas, hope the new year brings all you deserve and much more, patrick chapman.

We all had a great Christmas Thomas got spoilt with loads of presents so have spent a lot of time with the family and still managed to get out a couple of times fishing. Regarding the get down Dave I got down at the steps at Withernsea North end and walk down the beach to this spot but found a Really good spot to get up and down the cliffs where a lot lower and a easy get up someone dug steps I the cliff and it was easy walking along the cliff top than the beach. The codling are a bit thin on the ground along the Holderness but we keep sneak one out.
