New to your channel. I've had my Avata 2 now for almost a month. This was a much better description of the Easy Acro mode as I have seen anywhere. Even DJI's website isn't as comprehensive a description as yours. And thank you; I was not aware you could change the vertical speed until now.

I've still got two (and a half) questions about the 180° move:
1. How much further does the Avata 2 go backwards after the 180° turn? Does it continue going backwards as long as I hold the accelerator/trigger?
2. While going backwards (after using the stick to perform the 180° move), can I then use the stick again to turn the Avata's nose back forwards?

Great video! I just got mine and had a quick play with the Acro Mode, I'm a little confused, if you can record and use Acro mode, how does one get any good shots of the Drift mode? Can you only record in the goggles for this? Sorry, I'm new to this, thank you.!
Question... If I want to use the 180 drift mode and then fly forward would I push the trigger outward?
Can you have both the controllers connected and just use this one when you want to to some flips, drifts?

Hello Matthew, I’m quite intrigued by the Goggles and wondering if it’ll fix a problem I often have when flying my Mini 4 on bright sunny days. The display on my RC2 get washed out even when I’m positioned in a shade. If it’ll work do you know will the RC2 still continue displaying at the same time as the Goggles? Thanks for all your wonderful tutorials and tips.

It looks fun, but I wouldn’t know I ordered mine within 10 minutes of it going on sale and I have really been messed about by DJI first of all it took 2 days just to pick my order so I didn’t get it last weekend, now I have 3 different tracking numbers 1 can’t be tracked there other 1 as been delivered to a different address and the last to a service point but without the QR code I can’t pick it up thats if it’s there which I doubt, I have spent the last hour going between DJI and DHL trying to sort it out, next is my credit card company and see if their can help just wished I ordered it from Amazon
You could get a $40 hubsan drone in 2015 that had auto flip and roll. Interesting to see something so old as a new feature for dji.

DJI needs to update the firmware to give more control re: the rolls and flips. Allow people to set how fast the roll happens and how big of a loop for the flip

Yeah, if it loses signal the drone will return to home.

The manual says you cant recoed when in Acro mode. How did you do it?

When I pull down the top menu, there is no Easy Acro button. I just got this drone this morning so I'm not fully informed on how to use it yet. Is Easy Acro only available in Sport mode? How do I get the button to appear?

The joystick on the motion controller? Yeah! The joystick on the FPV controller, unfortunately not.

I'm a relative beginner to drones especially FPV and seriously considering this.
One thing that is completely puzzling me though is the UK law regarding flying this and other FPV drones. From what I understand it has to be flown in VLOS by a spotter stood nearby, but I've yet to see a review or video that doesn't show the drone flying over the edge of a cliff, into a building and just generally completely out of site to anyone watching or spotting, and usually just a solo pilot 😂. UK videos too.
Have I misunderstood the regulations or do we just interpret them to our own situation?😅🤫

do we realize that this new model has the exact same problem as the first Avata? This too, if flown in acro, can fall, if you make fast maneuvers this too has already been tested

There is an option to use the joystick in the other hand. Not sure what it does exactly but I saw it in the menu.
Yeah you can use it in your left hand just change the settings
I dislike the MC. I see where DJI created this device to ease people into FPV. However, I don't really think it helps to develop one's skills necessary to fly full on FPV/Acro.
Flips or rolls would be more interesting if you slowmo. Without slomo it’s just too fast to know what even happened
