Your music is incredible. Thanks for the super chill vibes!

I miss archaeology so much. It was half of my minor in college and I was so lucky to be able to go on a 3 week dig in Macedonia several years ago. This video takes me back to mornings spent digging and afternoons spent washing sherds, but my absolute favorite was toward the end of the trip, sitting around piecing pottery and gluing them back together where we could. Because many of the sherds were coming out of a cistern (rather than a midden) where it’s likely much of the pottery would have went in accidentally and whole, we were able to to come up with quite a few mostly complete pieces. So, so cool.

June perfume, by Saville of London, was my late Mum’s favourite. As a child, in the late 1950s, I loved the little bottles. Later examples than the ones you found, had little round white tops with tiny little rubber bungs underneath. Once the bottle was empty, Mum would let me have it and I’d fill it with water and pretend I had my own perfume. I can still recall the scent to this day! 😊 xx

There’s so many comments to read through since I just caught your video - but the pink multi-colored bead is Czechoslovakian and likely dates anywhere from the turn of the 19/20th century to around the 1920’s. Your channel is quickly becoming my favorite mudlarking channel. I don’t know how you both maintain such a positive outlook but it’s so terrific to watch. I admire very much the things you both create. I too make jewelry and odds and ends. ❤️ from Michigan, USA.

My Dad's answer to your patented-curbside-sink was a WWII surplus metal gasoline tank welded into a wheel well of our station wagon. The filler tube with its screw-on cap protruded through the top of the wheel well inside the car. He added a pipe system to the bottom of the can with a faucet on
the other end. The faucet was then attached under the back bumper outside. Running water!

Love the bottles and jars, I wish we still used glass and pottery much more. I often rinse out jars and reuse around the house. We do have great doorstop recycling for glassware but sometimes they're just too nice to put in the bin! 🍶❤️ Also love the knight pottery and the fingerprint on the huge stopper. Locally we have a vintage emporium at a local mill, I love having a mooch around, it's like a huge treasure trove! I would think you would both love it, if you are ever near Stockport! • @nickandlaurihyde

geja tjeerdsma Wait..... you may not have bottle dumps, but old houses didn’t have indoor plumbing. So they used outhouses. Pretty sure they had those. Watch Aquachigger’s shows. He digs all kind of these spots out all the time. Pretty sure you can find some old abandoned sites somewhere? The only thing I might think would be an exception is due to Holland’s high water table, might be an impediment to this.

That tooth is a hoot! I think it was pulled from a very sore mouth. My dad is 91,he will be 92 on new year's Eve. He comes l from a family of ten kids ,two sets of twins. He was one. Two girls and eight boys. He has told me many stories about pulling teeth. Keep up the good work.

I call dibs on the human tooth necklace! Always a good idea to have a spare with you in case you lose one! :-)....... I always blame spell check for screwing up England's language, I bet they're pulling their hair out over my grammar lol.

You both make me SMILE! Thank you SO MUCH for these delightful videos. I absolutely love how excited you get about your finds...and also that you create things from them. Which do you love the most? The finding of treasures OR the creative part afterwards????

The beads match the red "cameo" piece. Perhaps they were on the same necklace.

    Wow some really nice finds.
    That patterned bead is lovely.
I'm in love with those little green jars.
Interesting to have the star of David on the bottle stopper too.
It is a molar ( a grinding tooth), Incisors are at the front & taper towards the front & canines look pointy at the end. There seems to be plaque on the root so the root would have been exposed & the gum receded before it fel out or was pulled, it would have been loose too

Some really lovely finds ladies! I have also found one of the fuse holders and used it as a perch on a wall hanging bird feeding/bathing station that I made from mosaicing some of my strange and larger finds and half bowls etc for the garden. I never knew what it was so was glued to the screen when you were explaining it. I also found one of the June bottles and drew a blank when looking for information. (Manchester finds) some of my mysteries now solved 😉Thank you so much. Take care... xxx
