I could've easily watched a 2hr episode of the work you've done so far.
Hahah would love to do longer episodes but just can build quick enough on my own!! Haha

From what I gathered dizzy manual to dizzy fz yes
EFI to EFI yes
But dizzy engine efi box no.
Efi box dizzy engine no.
Something to do with transmission tunnel placement of the gear selector and bellhousing size
Pretty sure it will the only problem you’ll have is your cross member will need to be 10 or 20mm more forward you can just weld a plate to the cross member to make it 10 or 20 mm forward, there’s heaps of forums on google and Facebook about manual conversions
It will depend on what type of 105 if it’s a hzj then don’t bother as they had the smaller box your best bet is to find a gearbox cross member drive shafts gear leavers and trans tunnel out of a hdj80 they had the better and stronger box and will handle anything the fz can ever throw at it if your content on sticking with the auto I suggest a upgrade to one out of a 100 series but they where computer controlled so will need the ecu and wiring loom for that if you wanted to go that way

This is sick.... I drove by an 80 series here in the US today (southeast), stopped in and peaked at the interior; Beat to hell, 230,000 miles on the clock (Gasser) but man, I'd love to do this to it. Not even sure its for sale... 🔥🔥🔥

Considering its a budget build I'd love to see you keep the auto and show us what it's capable of!! There's good and bad and most people just like what they like but I think there's a lot of bad stigma around autos so I think it would be great for you to show the benefits as someone that so many aspiring 4wders/mechanucs/enthusiasts look up to!

I am pretty sure that the four speed auto is strong as they did put these into 70 series LandCruiser conversions from manual to automatic with the single turbo diesel V8
I would look at changing the transfer box ratio so you can crawl in low range and also a lock up torque converts switch so you can lock up the torque converter in the lower gears That way you can drive the automatic like a manual when you want to and then have the convenience of the automatic when driving around town Looking forward to seeing the finished product
