nightsurf22 hell yeah man, I loved when residents spun dark/deep/hard house on the main floor@ tunnel, Eddie Baez, Stephen Zor, sal parm/plasmic honey and many more, it just went so well with the atmosphere there with all the exposed brickwork, the steel beams in the middle of the dance floor, and the awesome light and strobe system( especially when scotto did the lighting ), that was amazing and not too bright, along with the sound system that I'll admit wasn't the best in manhattan ( especially compared to the phazon soundsystem up the block @ twilo ), tunnels abnormally long rectangle dance floor didn't help but they made it more bass-heavy to help with the odd shape and even though they had to have the same sound insulation as any other club in the Chelsea section of manhattan, which wasn't a residential neighborhood, you could still hear the bass as you waited on line to get in.
that is your opinion, but you are wrong not just anyone can get some turntables and a mixer...you have to have a great ear for beatmatching, be very creative in knowing where certain beats go together, and ifnyou are producing the track it is even harder but everyone is entitled to their own opinion
