To make the restomod for cushion worth doing, adidas shld make the boost full length and thicker and make the strobel board soft and use a more plush sockliner. Or maybe use bounce or lightstrike for the carrier with boost pucks inside similar to what nike is implementing on zoom units.
Adidas is missing out on not adding lightstrike pro. It’s very bouncy and light. They should do pucks of that with lightstrike carrier. I have afew running shoes and the LS pro feels like a spring under your foot lol plus it gets better with more use.
Great video...I got them before 1 week and man the traction was fcked up and I had to return them...now I gotta wait for 19 April... to put smth on my bag
Solid video per usual! These are unfortunately deceiving with the Restomod and Boost logo placement. Because the Boost is only in the heel of this shoe, and the forefoot is just a regular EVA I think. It's a shame, because they at least could've done a Bounce setup in the forefoot for such a classic Adidas basketball shoe.
I've had mine for about a week, very solid and cozy shoe. Traction is solid, not top tier but good if you keep up on wipes. I love the full length lightstrike. Materials are cheap feeling in hand but feel good on foot. Support is solid, great midfoot lockdown but basic/minimal ankle support. Might not be wide footer friendly, mid foot feels great for me but I have a narrow foot and went tts. It's a good effort from adidas, kinda feels like their volleyball shoes but repurposed and beefed up for basketball. Definitely better than the don issue and Trae young 2, but not the same level as the hardens
@@ScruffysBucket interesting, ok. I was debating grabbing either these, the byw's, or the harden vol 7 but I honestly can't quite convince myself that I like those other 2 aesthetically. The adizeros look really nice, so if they perform alright, that's really good to know. I play on a fairly clean court, considering my DON issue 4's have had pretty good traction with few wipes here and there. I find that I don't absolutely need S tier cushioning because my feet/knees etc don't hurt either way.
@@thedudeofficial69 yeah agreed, I like they way the look a lot more than those others. Traction is good, not top tier but still good as long as you keep up on wipes. The cushion is low profile but good for impact. Best thing I can say is that I don't notice the show when I'm wearing it, just occasionally wipe and it gets the job done well. As long as a normal to narrow foot it should be a solid performer imo.
@@ScruffysBucket my foot is fairly normal width, I can usually go TTS (US 10) for almost all shoes and brands, only exception recently was the KD15, would have needed 1/2 down for heel slip, but then it was too tight in the midfoot.
@TheGarnet818 first to debut as a signature shoe as a low top was the Gil. Every signature shoe before that debuted as a mid or high top.. meaning his debut signature shoe was low.

Do you know if the CJ2 have good traction?
It do
I have 4 of the colorways! This shoe is historic. This is first low top signature basketball shoe! I Had this shoe when it debuted in 2006!
