      Dude I had a bald patch like that. It started out small, and in no time stared getting bigger and bigger. Before I knew it ; they were all over my head. Went to a dermatologist and he thought it was Alopecia; so he was giving me the steroid shots once a month; except they werent helping at all; and I was getting them all over my head. I finally just gave up; and stopped going to the dermatologist., since those steroid shots aint no joke. About a year and a half ago as the new year 2019 rang in; my new years resolution; was to stop smoking weed. As soon as I stopped smoking; I started to notice hair growing in those bald spots. About 9 months in; they completely filled in. It was the weed the whole time. Not only was it thinning out my hair; but it was thinning out my eyebrows and mustache as well. I started reading up on that; and found out that since weed is a female plant(beta); it produces estrogen and it kills your testosterone. It destabilizes your hormonal balance!

  • @diesel_jay
    @diesel_jay 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Brooo fireee 🔥🔥💈 question tho, when you knock out the line under the #1 open w the half guard are you going in w the half closed middle or open? I’m still not clear on that part! Great content!!

    • @Seancutshair
      @Seancutshair  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Start half way open and close if needed. All the way open just slides on the hair

    Just a question, why two different trimmers? Is one shorter and the other one softer?

    • @Seancutshair
      @Seancutshair  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah one isn’t zero gapped and makes taking the bald line out easier. The other is sharp and makes the shaver bald out easier and less of a drastic difference between the bald line and the shaver

      @@Seancutshair you are super good at responding to questions my guy. Much appreciated

  • @fit69
    @fit69 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    I think the top has to be cut asymmetrically. The side with the hard part has to stay a bit longer, to at least be on the same height as the middle hair if you pull it up. So basically just ignoring his headshape at that point to maintain the length.

    • @Seancutshair
      @Seancutshair  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Used to cut it like that but it leaves it too heavy there so I dont anymore. But I know what you mean and usually do it

    • @dtpbarbr87
      @dtpbarbr87 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      no cuz the client wanted to spike the hair up

    • @fit69
      @fit69 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Seancutshair I didnt even mean to correct you, I was just saying that a comb over for me pops more if you cut it like that because of the clearer disconnection at the hard part. But I understand if the client likes it like that.
      You did a great job. 😘

  • @BlakeSuperior_Beats
    @BlakeSuperior_Beats 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Maybe I missed it, but what product did you use on his hair? Looking for something good to use on spikey styles like this that don't leave the hair too hard or glossy.

      I usually would. His hair is so thick and quickly grows out if it’s too square he almost immediately can’t style it up. More of a basic beginner style cut.
