I lost my GSP last May at 15. His name was Frost, kind of similar to Tundra! They're beautiful, intelligent dogs. Watching your lovely girl brings back all the good memories.
Such a beautiful dog, I love your videos you two are amazing parents Tundra is so lucky to have you both. I have a 4 month old GSP puppy, your videos are so encouraging, so many similar personality traits
I love how your life revolves perfectly around this beautiful animal. It probably just completely dominates all of your life, in a meaningful and fulfilling way I guess. Do you ever get a little tired of how much commitment this takes?
It took us a while to adjust to her lifestyle and our schedule is evolved around her. At first we did not know she needed this much time and attention but it all worked out. We understand the sacrifices and are ok with it. She does tired us out when she was at her early puppy stages but not as much anymore.
Trundra was having so much fun in the snow made me laugh there like looneys in the snow flying abt they love it . U wish we would have snow like this so nice🥰😁
Shorthairs in Norway we’re used for mushing and Skijoring and in the 80s they crossed them with greyhounds and developed what was originally called a Eurohound, but is known today as a Greyster, and they are used in mushing and Skijoring. Shorthairs have no issues with cold as long as they are moving, but will get cold if they stop and especially if wet. They also love water. I had one of mine go for a swim in a lake in Colorado up in the mountains in late fall. It was snowing and very cold. Scared me, but my girl was fine.she went after some ducks that were on the water.
Thanks for posting this video. Fun to watch! I bird hunted with my GSP in North Dakota, and as long as they are running and moving, their blood flow keeps them warm, even their ears. They do a need a good breakfast though for extended play time or hunting in the cold. A scrambled egg on top of her dogfood will do just fine.
Glad you enjoyed it. Is there a lot of snow in North Dakota at the moment? That make sense because she was covered in snow and was all wet. We gave her a small meal before we went and a huge meal when we got back.
She is a happy pup! You guys are doing a great job with her. I have a 6 month old gsp and I love watching your videos. Is the yellow collar a gps collar? I would love to let my pup off leash but her recall isn't great right now and I don't want to lose her.
My golf course superintendent has a German shorthaired pointer. She’s about 6 years old. And she too loves to run and play. She is highly intelligent and well behaved too. 🐕😊
My American fox hound loves the snow never gets cold always finds the deer she is in heaven in the snow it was 5 below zero here. Take them off the leash or they will get cold. Mine today ran across frozen lake to just say hi to a friend. Huge lake
Had a German Shorthair pup when I was in college. At 4-5 months when I was away at school my mom let her out for a run in the first snow. She was too excited and ran out in the road and got hit by a car. Only time I ever cried over a dog. 😭
I suggest getting a training collar if u take her off leash. My GSP knows all the commands bit is too excited to listen all the time. The forest has too many smells and criters to expect a hunting dog to ignore.

So sorry for your loss. They really are wonderful dogs and we're glad our videos helped you with the memories you and Frost had.

@@tundrathegsp That's great. Love your videos, please keep them coming and Tundra is adorable!
That is a real GSP Happy Hunting Ground.
Snow like Sand, must feel great with webbed paws.
Tundra really liked the snow. Mine love it to. Exercise in the snow tires them out fast. I bet she took a good nap when you got home. 💜🐾🐾🐾
She had a great time since this girl love the snow. She did get tired faster than usual and slept like a baby on the way home =)
I had a close friend who lived and taught in Henderson in the early 2000's Beautiful area. I live ❄️❄️❄️in Iowa....welcome to our world of snow!
That is so cool 😄. We love the snow 🥰
30 degrees? Balmy. 😊 Tundra is a great dog.
Thank you 😊
My GSP is like a Portable heater she always is warm and if she not she under the blankets
Tundra's ears flopping when she runs is very cute - so energetic.. so GSP
😅 We love her ears
Красивое место для отдыха. Моя собачка после таких прогулок целый день спала на кровати. Я думаю и Ваша собачка делает также . 😊
It was nice. Yes? Tundra got home and slept like a baby on the couch. She was really tired 😄
Trundra was having so much fun in the snow made me laugh there like looneys in the snow flying abt they love it . U wish we would have snow like this so nice🥰😁
She had a great time. This girl loves the snow ever since she was a pup. It’s nice to have a change of scenery once in a while here 😊
Brakuje nam wyżła, tego ruchu. Pozdrawiamy Was i całujemy Tundrę🤭🤗☺️💖
😄😊
The scenery is beautiful. I miss the west.
It was really nice. Would be nice if it snows more often.
I love my GSP! I want to take her out to the desert to see how she reacts. I'm sure will love the freedom!
Your GSP will love it. Especially with all the space that she can run 😄

This is very insightful. No wonder so many people love this breed because they are so versatile.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
We have a ND hunter also...they never run out of energy...keeps them warm!
That’s awesome. Tundra would have played all day if we weren’t tired 😂
For your reference the windchill factor last week in New York City was -40. She is the most beautiful dog
That’s crazy and we’re over here freezing in 30 degrees weather 😂. Thank you.

Thank you 😊. She really is a happy pup. Yes, it is a Fi GPS collar. I recommend not letting her off leash until you’re comfortable with her recall.

I want to join with my 2 doxies. 🧡

Wow, that is freezing temperature. Where are you located?

She’s enjoying it so much. Glad you had a good time. What kind of dog is this? She’s gorgeous.
Thank you. She really had a great time. She is a German Shorthaired Pointer (GSP).

Oh no, that is so sad and heartbreaking.
Will Tundra be trained as a working gun dog?
We do not hunt therefore she won’t be trained as a gun dog.
@@tundrathegsp thank you, bot she will make a lovely pet. ❤️
Where's her little orange shoes?
No need for them since she’s in snow.
How old is she? My GSP loves playing in the snow! It’s just too cute!
She is 1 year and 5 months.
