Tom whatcha's know about that song in the background {Magic Part 2} brah??😉 (great tune on the way to, or on, the water)😎 You and your teachings, and your Angling-Swag is Outstanding Brother! Y'all guys (and lady) up there are absolute Master Jedi Catchermen! 🙂 Thanks for all the informative interesting and beneficial content Tom!! May The FISH Be With Us Always....🙏🏾✊🏾🎣
Congrats Mitchell... amazing boat for sure! I was looking at the 185 the other day and yes these boat are very spacious.. best of of luck with your new boat
Damn Tom thanks for the tips on Setup of the Graphs. The logic is sound why you run them split like that. Now I understand how you see the fish so easy.
I just bought a competitor 165 with a full windshield and I love the boat. I wish I could have went bigger but the budget didn't allow that but I'm extremely happy with my purchase. Any competitor boat from Alumacraft is going to be an awesome boat.
Just bought a 185cs with a 140. Still trying to get it rigged. Doing all that myself. Would love a detailed video on how you run 8 lines when trolling and how you land fish with all those lines out. Also on Mille Lacs were you running with a sock. I thought i herd you mention it, can you give us more detail on how you were using the sock pulling cranks and spinners. Thanks Enjoy the boat Mitch. Also rocking my Tom T shirt this weekend.
I have the Merten's power steering on my 05 Yamaha 90 hp tiller. It's the same system as Merc bought them out. Mitchell will love having that power steering.
Great looking boat . I was wondering if when on real rough winds and no windshield pluss being in the fare back of boat , how much wet do you have to deal with on plane. I'm pushing 70 and not a rough neck so much anymore .
Bought a 185 competitor this spring big and wide open. Love especially being 6’6” 300lbs. That 205 has to really be spacious. Nice setup. Only thing I’d change is put that boat on a ShoreLandr not an Eagle.
Great vid. Beautiful boat! My question is why do guys use high-rise sticks on your rod holders? Easier to grab rods when you’re standing? Or is there another reason or benefit?
@@andrewlawson6224 it is bit easier to grab rods out of the rod holders when they're raised a bit. I added them to my boat and instantly appreciated having them.
Can you explain the rope you guys have tied along the full length of the gunnel of the boat? What’s it’s purpose? I’ve noticed it in your other videos too.
Great video Tom, I loved the boat and electronics overview. What do you do when you mark huge schools of fish near cribs but can't get them to bite with jigs or slip bobbers?
Hey guys, I've had my 205 competitor for two seasons now. Best decision of my life to get it. I studied alot of forums before I got it, and went with the merc pro xs 115hp. On plane with a full boat of equipment, full live wells etc. my top end speed is about 34mph. Really would appreciate knowing what your top end speed is, (fully loaded boat) with that 150hp?????
Also, Tom has several videos on summer Walleye fishing. Most in the Hayward area. Many of the lakes are deep and clear. Bottomline, go to Tom's archives and watch a few summer videos.

Hey that's a very nice tip Ryan. Thanks.
You didn’t have to comment this and you did, saves me so much time on the water when you wanna go menu to menu!
I remember when graphs required paper. Its amazing how far the technology has come. Beautiful boat...

That's a nice rig Mitch, 150 tiller too, that's the biggest I've seen. Always feels good driving a new boat around, the smile says it all!
Congratulations on the new boat ! Those are really sweet looking tillers for sure but I’m old I like my full windshield lol !
Sweet rig! Love the big tillers, but in my old age, I’ll take my 185 Trophy.
Congrats on the new boat Mitch. Enjoy!

Yep! I have a 2017 Competitor 175 with a Suzuki 140. Love it!
It’s amazing the price jump from a 165 to a 175-185 isn’t it?
@@patrickempey3584 I bet it is! For me, it comes down to what I can fit in my garage.
Congrats Mitch on the new boat follow the Merc brake in procedure and you are going to love that 150 especially the power steering.

You fellas are a huge reason I'll be a proud owner of the V17t model in a few week's. Might even splurge on the double hummingbird setup ;)

First post for first boat, sweet rig, congrats Mitch!!
Would’ve liked to of seen the thing powered up and on plane

Northern pike fishing would be a nice change up especially with fall around the corner.
Congrats Mitchell on a great looking boat

Great looking boat Mitch!
Hey congratulations Mitchell beautiful boat
Nice boat. Excited for him!!!
Good luck with the new boat!
Congrats, Mitch!
Great video like always ,have fun in that new boat
Why didn't you keep your business local to the area? Isn't the nearest Alumacraft dealer Wild River in Trego?
Geat looking boat. Congrats...hey Tom, i will buy your 185 so you can get a 205. Let me know as i want a 185 also. Ty joe b.
I'M excited for Mitch! But seriously, it is a requirement to go pounded it out on Superior! And PLEASE, take us along via video?
Congrats on the new rig!!!
Where is Mitch gonna put the extra rod holders in that boat? I'd definitely watch a video on how you guys mod your boats when you get new ones.
Im not sure why i was excited about someone else getting a new boat!
Great vid. Beautiful boat! My question is why do guys use high-rise sticks on your rod holders? Easier to grab rods when you’re standing? Or is there another reason or benefit?

Lekan Oyefeso thanks for clearing that up for me. Makes sense. I may try them with my tiller as well. 👍
I watch your channel quite a bit and can't believe I didn't recognize you guys at LCO last week. 😂
Congrats Mitch
Nice boat nice setup tips on the birds
Saw you guys 3xs in Hayward over the weekend. That rig bad ass!
My buddy did same thing Tom now I dont see him no more haa but we compair notes so not all bad
I n MN, slime is Northern pike.
Congrats on the new boat, super sweet! I am also curious about the absence of a kicker, does the new 150 troll slow enough?
I think it can with rpm button but I wouldn’t want to.
Sick rig! Congratulations!
Can’t wait till I buy my first boat, might be an older tiller, but definitely what I want
Congrats Mitch!!
Can you explain the rope you guys have tied along the full length of the gunnel of the boat? What’s it’s purpose? I’ve noticed it in your other videos too.
Tom, the ropes are for.................JUST FILL IN THE BLANK
Still waiting patiently...
Probably dock lines.
What about a kicker? Looks like there is a ladder right where you might want one.
Nice boat, Mitchell! We expect to see you posting videos too! ;-)
Beautiful boat
Do they give you motor options, like Yamaha or Suzuki!
Congrats, Mitch! Awesome rig! Any reason you didn't go with Suzuki as Tom does?
So what’s the Breakin. on the new 150 Merc?
Great video Tom, I loved the boat and electronics overview. What do you do when you mark huge schools of fish near cribs but can't get them to bite with jigs or slip bobbers?
Nice rig good luck
Congratulations!
Fun! Sooooo jealous!

Seems like 43
How do you use those ropes tied to the cleats. I see them on your boat and now micthes. I’m sure it’s for docking but how do you do that. Thanks!
Ever since I seen this question its been bugging me to know why too! PLEASE TOM, explain the dang ropes already!
I'll be the hat trick for that question. Hoping its a good tip for launching the boat when alone. Always informative Tom, good work.
Still waiting patiently here...
When did Humminbird add split screen adjustment to their units?
Should have got that skeeter! Lol
What do you need all that for to bobber fish. J.k. Congrats man!
very sick, tell Mitch to let me know if he wants to sell it
Nice boat 👏🏻👏🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻
Hey Tom I was looking for the second hummingbird in my boat does each hummingbird have their individual transducers or is it shared or split
wow great video, I really wonder what lake your on
Don't need a pontoon, too. Any planes try to land?
🤘very nice boat
Why did Mitch go with mercury rather than suzuki ?
What is the top speed with that set up ?
Try exit or back you dont have to continually scroll through the different images if you pass it
What size trolling motor did he go with?
What is the blue rope setup for?
It’s funny that Mitch didn’t even know half of the features on this brand new boat he just bought 😂😂
Thumbs up my friend 👏🤝💪🇩🇪🛎
I'm in the market for a new boat soon and I creamed my pants watching this lol
Love it, Ohhh its just a bass.😂
awesome
Hey Tom, going out on lake grindstone soon. How deep are they in that lake this time of year?
20+ feet. In daylight.
Also, Tom has several videos on summer Walleye fishing. Most in the Hayward area. Many of the lakes are deep and clear. Bottomline, go to Tom's archives and watch a few summer videos.
All your customers are going to want to fish with Michel now.
My hometown dealer.👍
Tom ? Why don’t you or your buddie ever get the big 15 solix or 12 solix just curious bigger screen to see the fish
Not necessary
10” screen is the biggest Helix unit you can stow away in the compartment which is a nice feature. At least on my 185 competitor it is.
2:29 That’s what she said.
Very Nice boat. Jealous much. One day you'll get dual consoles. When your older and wiser.
