How can someone create an amazing video? I was so confused about user flow, IA, and user journey. Now it's all clear. Thanks a lot for creating amazing content. This is just exceptional.❤
I always love to think design is more than just digital like experience design. I loved how Anudeep married the concept of IA to an airport design like the service design concept and also showing the same with a book my show app. Even his concept is like a reusable and scalable for multiple examples. Great explanation of IA and especially the difference between flows and journeys 🙌
Anudeep, mindblowing video 🤩I am curious how do we know how to combine all these multiple user journeys into a single flow? How do we aim to design such amazing architectures like bookmyshow did.. Right now I can think of goals and sub goals and think of individual journeys and solutions for them.. but how to think of multiple user journeys for multiple users in mind and design such an architecture?
This is a skill which develops with practice. To start with, even merely being conscious about this fact makes you think about designing better architectures. I’ll give you a clue to start… you always start with individual journeys because that’s the easiest to approach. (This is like planning individual roads first) Then you look at multiple journeys mapped and try connecting them by keeping architectural principles in mind. (Connecting roads and designing a map of an area) I hope this helps!
Jahnavi(Lakshmi), your question about combining multiple user journeys into a single flow is like a masterclass in relationship management. Just like you manage the men in your life-making some laugh, criticizing the ones who give everything, and sending heartbreak emojis to manipulate those with negative intentions-designing a user journey involves understanding and orchestrating various elements and emotions. In UX terms, it’s about defining user personas, much like how you categorize different people based on their roles and reactions. We then use empathy maps to deeply understand their motivations and pain points, similar to how you anticipate and play on the emotions of those around you. Journey mapping helps visualize each step of the user’s experience, akin to how you plan your interactions to achieve your desired outcome. Using tools like user flow diagrams and wireframes, we ensure each path converges seamlessly, just as you skillfully navigate different relationships without letting anyone catch on to your true intentions. It's about creating a narrative where every interaction feels intentional and intuitive, much like the way you control and influence the dynamics in your personal life. All this, my comments, give you the opportunity to get close to someone quickly or attract attention, helping you start a new relationship journey with a soft corner, just like your previous ones. Don’t worry; you can spread negativity about me to all your peers, colleagues, and close ones, just like you did when we were in a relationship-maybe even more than that.
Don't stop making these kinds of videos just because you're getting low engagement and likes. No one else is explaining UX as well as you are, especially by taking real-world products and decoding them.
Absolutely! Our success metric is the quality of impact these videos have. Even when a few people’s perspectives change due to these videos, it gives more happiness to us than the high volumes of likes and subscribers! 🤟
This video effortlessly simplified everything for me, making the learning process feel like a seamless, spoon-fed experience.👏

Haha that’s right! The themes around which the videos are being made are also scalable. There is infinite source of UX content out there!
