love that you are talking about purslane. I have it growing everywhere but did not know what it was until my niece from China saw it growing. She was very excited and said "THAT is very good for you. We sell it in China and love it". I was so surprised. Now I am wondering what else is in my yard and am doing extensive research on all editable yard plants. thank you. I am rushing off to try your yummy looking patties and will be freezing that wonderful green goodies as well. blessings.

American Burn weed. I’ve got tons growing on my yard. A friend of mine gave me purslane and I’ve got a bed dedicated to it. Haven’t cooked any yet. Ate a raw leaf. But it’s doing well

This video came at a perfect time as I found an abundance of purslane on my walk; if not picked by me it will be mowed down in a few days! Thanks for showing so many different recipes!

The tender tops add lime juice, olive oil and salt for a fresh salad.
Add the tender tops to any soup or any salsa for a stew vegetable
I do sanitize them with iodine solution after a thorough wash.
In Mexico we eat them as any other vegetable, they are available at the grocery store and there are many recipes: cerdo con verdolagas is one of them. Verdolagas= purslane.

you are very creative. I'm impressed with your recipes. I wish I could find quantities like you did or be gifted a quantity. I love in MN about 45 miles from the Twin Cities. The most purslane I've ever found is 2-3 plants!! I'll keep looking. Thanks again

Put a bushel of Purslane in the background of your food picture or video. One last upclose picture at the end.
Great video content and the pace was clean. 😊

Thank you for interesting video presintation, Well I finally got a good bit of rain and the purslane has taken over my garden. I joked with a friend that if it was good toeat I could feed the whole neighbourhood. He said it was edable and folks make salad of it. Here I go.

So what I do is a little bit different. I shove it all into big barrels. Any thing that is not a Purslane will go to the bottom. Along with the seeds, then I take it out and dry it all the soil at the bottom, and everything else then goes through screening situation to acquire the seed or you can just dump the leftovers into an area that you wanted to grow at your place or somewhere else😊

I dehydrate it for protein powder. Chopping helps, otherwise it has so much water content it takes about 30 hours to dehydrate in a warm oven. But I love your idea of putting it in blender. Thanks for the great tips!
