one little addition when splitting stacks - when you shift click and have the slider to select amount, you can type number / amount of how many you want to split right away, no need to slide manually
Hold Alt on a Skill Gem to see more information, like what Quality does. Hold Shift on a Passive Node to see how that one Node effects your Skills. Put 3 Waypoints of the same Tier into the recombinator to get a new Waypoint, but 1 Tier higher. Use the Arrow keys to move the map. Those are my 2 ehh 4 cents on this topic.
disabling NIS ruins a lot of great looking particle effects unfortunately - be sure to make changes to upscaling with particles visible on-screen so you can see how they look under different filters
Tip X: Explaining Target Framerate freature In the settings, there is the option for Dynamic Resolution. But the FPS count when Dynamic Resolution kicks in is at the bottom (Target Framerate). I set it to 60 FPS. Meaning in demanding situations when my FPS drops to 60 FPS, Dynamic Resolution kicks in trying to keep a minimum of 60 FPS.
RE: Tip 1 (AMD RX 7800 XT) For my taste, simply 1440p resolution, Bilinear, No Upscale looked best, and gave some additional FPS at highest quality settings. Compared to the available options, AMD FSR, or GGG NIS. Yes, with GGG NIS, some cloth texture features (embossing) are popping out better, but other stuff like grass and the red sand in Act 2 looks too grainy, as lolcohol said.
You should definitely not have any performance issues with a 3080ti. I have one as well and I'm hitting 120 fps at 1440p (DLSS quality). I can hit over 100 FPS in 4K as well, but my card runs hot and loud despite having an AIO water cooler, so I turned down the resolution. I'm playing on a TV anyway, so I can't really tell the difference from my sitting position.
yeah I dunno why GGG default to NIS upscale, it looks horrid. literally the first thing I noticed the second I launched the game on release day looking at the character select, I could tell something was off with the graphics how ailised it looked and its the FIRST thing i changed. Watching streamers play on the default NIS makes me cringe cuz how bad it looks.
@@pingunataupscale off is the way to go. DLSS is another upscaler. FSR looks awful. NIS is just over sharpening everything. If on AMD, users can override Antialiasing and set it to 4x in the Radeon settings. There isn't a good AA in PoE2 right now.😊
Hi, can you tell about crafting , like what ilvl does, what bases are good/bad, and a little about rare prefixes, suffixes. I sold several good items for 1 ex, bcz I had no idea they are worth 10+
How do I make the stupid symbol to add a different stat on a Nordic keyboard LOL? Its not " | "(to the left of the number 1). Atleast it doesnt work. The symbol is listed to the left of backspace aswell but no idea how to make it :P
Lolcohol is one of the best PoE youtubers who make these kind of videos. I learned useful things from him during my early PoE1 days. I already knew all of these, but this video will especially be good for my friends and other people who are relatively new to PoE. Thank you, mate.
Why bother developing in game quality of life options, just force the players to learn keyboard shortcuts as if they are playing on a excel spread sheet , the Stash tabs also look like a spreadsheet ....
Going from NIS to DLSS Performance tells me you don't know how upscaling works. Don't tell ppl to change without explanation. DLSS upscaling gives you some other downsides, so if you have a performant GPU you should downscale, not upscale or put it off at all.
@@nobody5648 If you have lower end GPU, you can try to use DLSS for upscaling. Start with quality preset and go down form there. Basically quality setting will render the game really close to original quality and then upscale. The performance setting will render at really low resolution and upscale. But remember, that DLSS will degrade picture quality because it will have to guess the missing frames. So use DLSS only if you need extra performance and you dont mind game looking pixelated.
Ah, a classic “the world revolves around me” type of person. There are many new players to the game. Other people with other experiences exist outside your brain. There you go, a new hidden *brain* feature, just for you.

Adding the Expedition NPC's to your hideout via "Editing -> NPC" you could add to your next video. I think no new player will ever find this out :)
All. 8years of Poe 😂 They need to finally add map tab................ 😂😂😂
been play poe 1 for 5000hrs, and still learn things from this video XD
@situdefeng4343 5k?????? Jez. I got maybe 2k in 8 years :D

@@swarupsen6279 As far as I'm aware, there is no such thing atm.

can you name one I can test in Act 1?

Huh. The hunting grounds particularly look so damn grainy. I’ll have to see it again after I change the upscaling
whats your graphics settings? ive a 3080ti and im really struggling to feel smooth

do you have build guide for this witch hunter
Yup :) th-cam.com/video/C4RBNYmQgTM/w-d-xo.html There's also a version for low tier maps you can check out!
Ok, we got "|" for "OR". What character do we use for "AND"?

Space would work in this context.
Yup a space works! I should've added that
Pro Tip, console GGG refuses to enable loot filter edits for console so play PC only.
what does quality do to lightning strike skill gem?
Hover over the skill and press and hold Alt. The Quality line will show up and tell you.

Some of us that is best setting
That's weird. I like the sharp look of NIS better. A lot better. It looks cleaner.

What are the best settings for a potato PC? Flame wall SRS turns my PoE 2 session into a full screen pixel glitter

F5 should also get you to your hideout like PoE1 eh?
that's a macro from an extension, not native
Awakened PoE trade macro which doesn’t work in poe2 yet
Ah, I never even knew it was a macro. TIL
Use sidekick it has price checker and the f5 hideout macro feature. Been very useful the past 2 days I've been using it.
I always change my scaling. Always

On Amd FSR is worse than nis
Looks fantastic with no upscaling at 4k, just using the AA.
Run guys nerf tomorrow 😂
Combat feels great on controller. UI control with controller though. Awful
I play on controller 😢
and there is no mixed mode, or you use keyboard or controller, hope they allow to change on the fly eventually
Thanks man my game was blurry all the time and the graphics change fixed it.
noice tips
