Hello people - I had no idea this video was gonna get ANY views, let alone a bunch of them. So, as it’s doing the rounds (for some reason), I feel I should clarify a few things...
    1. I DID 6GS OF FRESH TRUFFLES. I apologise for not making that abundantly clear. Maybe don’t be taking 6gs of dried shrooms on your first try, as apparently you’ll be on another fucking planet and I’d love it if you stayed here with us on this one. Unless you want to of course, then go nuts.
    2. Yes my eyebrows are weird and yes I look a bit like Angela White the Australian porn star
    3. I apologise for referring to psychedelics as drugs, lots of people are shaming me for that one. Consider me told
    4. I swear a lot. It’s true. But it’s part of my make up and honestly... they’re just sounds. Just made up words like the rest of them. I come in peace!
    5. I got them from a site online called Wholecelium. I took 6gs of the MICRODOSING ‘XP’ Psilocybin Truffles
    6. Yes, there are lots of cuts but I promise you, this version is FAR more enjoyable than a probably-40-minute- version where I say 'like' 1286 times
Ok, I think I’ve covered everything. Thanks for watching! Oh, and please do consider checking out my other videos and supporting me on Patreon if you like ‘em. All the love 🧡 xx

You said in this video that you knew all of the things that Eckhart Tolle and other spitualists talk about, but knowing them conceptually and feeling them are completely different things. Feeling is understanding, so when you said that feeling it is completely different, that's because feeling is true knowing.
Also, when Eckart Tolle, the Buddha, Mooji, Lao Tzu and whomever else talks about the self beyond ego, this is what you experienced a glimpse of, and the whole experience is waiting for you right now.

I loved hearing your story. I actually just tried shrooms for the second time last night! I've tripped with my friends but they don't seem to use psychedelics the same way you and I used it. I think I need to trip by myself or with someone who wants to have a spiritual journey.

When my father learned he was dying from lung cancer I began telling him about acid and mushroom trips helping people to *remember* that we are a part of everything. Of course I didn’t suggest he do the trip, just wanted him to hear what people said about what they experienced. I told him of documentaries I’d seen as well as my personal experiences, emphasizing that once you have the *remembering* you never forget that again and it vastly minimizes the fear of death. As one of Roger Waters biggest fans, I told my dad of the lyrics at the end of ‘The Wall’ “there must have been a door when I came in”. What a perfect analogy! I was with my father when he died, it was peaceful and beautiful. You did an excellent job of describing your experience, right on sista.

I can totally relate. My first trip got me out of my deep depression. I know it was dangerous but I was so desperate to get out of this state. I tried to write down afterwards what happened. It was similar to your experience. First the visuals and then the spiritual part. But to me an entity spoke and said: "You are exactly right just the way you are." And I was looking at the ceiling and it looked like lace and it was moving and I asked:" Is that the true reality behind that?" And the voice said: "Yes, but I can't show you more, because that would be to much for you." And the next thing I asked was "Are you God?" And the entity answered:" You can call me what you like, I am EVERYTHING". And I felt so much healing and love which is undescribable. And I felt connected to everything. Before my eyes was like a filter of carbon molecules and I saw everything through that. I am so thankful for that experience and that it helped me so much.

Mushrooms have taught me that everything IS connected, and that our troubles aren't as bad as we think they are. Everything is all right, no matter what, so try to live in a positive manner. My experiences with microdosing and occasional higher doses have erased ALL of my health anxiety: I now work out regularly, quit smoking (easily; mushrooms taught me that is WAS easy) and eat like an athlete. Lost 80lbs since Nov. Mostly pain free and I thought I was on the road to disability. I'm gonna be alright! I have a greater understanding of what my depression is and how to deal with it before it deals with me, and it is disappearing. My relationships with the world and other people is tempered with understanding and respect where it used to be saturated with irritation and distrust. Read up and be wary of contraindications if you want to try this medicine.

You weren’t a human having a spiritual experience, you are a spiritual being having a human experience. You just came closer to realising you are spiritual being and the human brain struggles to process the emotion of that realisation. It’s a wonderful thing to experience though right.
6 grams is one hell of a dose for a first timer though. 6 grams of a stronger mushroom could’ve sent you to another dimension well and truly.

i agree! i think we're saying the same things just differently. we're part of this magic universe. it is inherently spiritual and we can't be separated from it. but mid-trip, i was experiencing this on a greater level from WITHIN a human body and a human brain. does that make sense? ha i think we are saying the same thing! regardless, hello and thanks for watching! Xx

    • @sswwiinnccee
      @sswwiinnccee 4 ปีที่แล้ว +34

Kate McGill it makes complete sense. I think the majority of the time most people feel separated from their spiritual self or even unaware that it exists and that it is more real than the physical being that we identify as ourself. Mushrooms have way of further connecting our physical self with our spirit and and make us aware of the connection between our conscious energy and the energy of nature and the universe. This is why we get the feeling of oneness along with the feeling of insignificance by realising that we are such a tiny part of an enormous collective consciousness. It’s enlightening and humbling at the same time. I haven’t done mushrooms in ages but I’ve recently bought a grow kit online and I’ve got some beautiful little mushrooms popping up so I’m looking forward to some interesting experiences once again.

my first trip was 6g in my dark room alone, with the curtains open looking out into the stars, i had my headphones on, and drank my shroom lemon shake, long story short... it was around 2 hours of an incredible life changing trip, and i believe i broke through to an alternate reality for quiet some time, i came back to earth and freaked out at the fact i had a physical body and began pacing around my room repeating what the fuck just happened, over and over for 10 minutes, then i went downstairs and tried to make food and totally forgot how so i just stood in the kitchen scratching my head at the fact this alternate reality was more real then earth human reality... since then i have done DMT around 6 times and obviously there is no words. i am changed forever and am now on an absolutely incredible journey of love and have realised i am the universe experiencing itself, psychedelics changed my life forever, i now realise this is all one big beautiful dream. the world will change once these substances become mainstream. I just tried shrooms 3 days ago. It was my first time. I did around 3 gm. It was golden teacher. It takes around 30 mins to hit you. What I felt was different than what most of the youtubers mention on their channels. In the beginning I felt as if my blood pressure is getting high. I felt uncomfortable for like 20-40 minutes. After that all I wanted to do was talk. It felt like I knew answer of each and every question that my friends were asking me. As If I knew what should I speak. I kept on talking. You won't feel jealous of anybody anymore. You ll start loving everybody. I did at night which I won't recommend to others. I saw different kind of lights from the street light. I called one of my best friend at started crying like baby. I cried a lot. I felt so good. Shrooms make you mature I guess. This is not drugs people. These are not. They are more of a personality improver kit. I felt more confident in public. I will take a break from shrooms for a month and see for how long the impact remains with me and will try it again later and see how it goes.

I came up with a theory after my experience that shrooms actually opens your subconscious up to feeding more info to your conscious mind. They say 95 percent of information is missed by our conscious awareness but picked up by our subconscious and I believe the shrooms filter more information to the consciousness. You pay attention to more, hear music differently, feel the vibes of the room. At any party I've done shrooms at, I felt like I could see the future because I could tell how the night was gonna go based on the energy in the room. If someone wasn't having a good time, I could sense if they might flip out and make things awkward hours before it happened. Any sign of disturbances in the vibration would make me call an Uber immediately. Then after you get that information overload feeling that feels almost akin to a good panic attack where you realize its all connected. It's an existential experience that's hard to put into words because you have to feel it to believe it.

Cannabis has opened up doors in my mind far beyond my understanding but cannabis to me and many others I know personally have shown me and taught me many things like shrooms but not all at once but throughout many years of using cannabis at very high doses most people can’t handle and it slowly through out time shows you the bigger picture and synchronicities become very much obvious and much much more I cannot explain but cannabis doesn’t give visuals and all that stuff but it legit floods your mind with knowledge a textbook cannot give you! Wish I could explain what using cannabis for over a decade has taught me but words cannot describe how it taught me and what it’s shown me... and what I find also very funny is that I know a lot of people who have done every psychedelic there is and every one of these people all have said the same exact thing about cannabis “Edibles” and what they have all told me is that a strong edible can be a lot more intense and way harder to control/handle than LSD or shrooms ! I do believe it too cuz I’ve been told this so many times by hella people that have never met one another but all said the same thing about strong weed edibles is that they can kick your fuckin ass a lot harder than shrooms but in a very different way ... like being trapped inside your mind while your heart is beating so hard you can’t breathe well and your pulse is racing and you’re sweating hard and this all lasts for a good 4-6 hours at the very least ! This mainly applies to people with a low THC tolerance even if they do smoke weed, edibles are unpredictable and can take you to extremely dark places in your mind along with very strong physical effects ! You just don’t see colors or tracers or open eyed hallucinations at all... BUT, you get absolutely beautiful closed eye visuals of geometrical patterns that move non stop almost like dim colors and a kaleidoscope effect of patterns but dim colors not bright and you go into fast moving tunnels too when eyes are closed like a wormhole effect and also music sound absolutely fuckin amazing and very slowed down and has a more wide and deeper sound to it as well which is why some of your favorite songs are so good cuz many musicians that made the songs you love were high as hell on weed or other psychedelics lol 😂 I have never done a traditional psychedelic at all but I’ve talked to dozens of old school people that did a lot of acid, shrooms, mescaline(Real mescaline), salvia and also dmt as well and they all legitimately said the closest they have come to a very bad trip was always from a weed edible and that none of those other drugs gave them a bad trip like a strong edible did which I find to be extremely weird and makes no sense to me but I believe these people they are all close to me and not known to be liars.. but at the same time I just find it so hard to believe that a strong weed edible can cause a bad trip a lot worse than some of these traditional psychedelics for many people, not saying that applies to every person but when you’ve been told by several people that they panicked the hardest from pot edibles and struggled to not lose their minds it’s just so hard to fathom that strong cannabis can potentially fuck you up mentally a lot worse than some other trippy drugs out there man made or organic ! Weird... I’ve been told that so many times it’s not even funny lol me personally I have tried 100mg edibles and smoked a ton of bomb bud while waiting for the edible to kick in and I personally love the feeling of that cuz it’s so intense like I’m inside a rocket about to be launched into outer space but at the same time it’s not going too fast at all and I’m just cruising through the sky having a great time feeling amazing lol edibles just make me feel like “Myself” and have taught me how to be a better human being in this lifetime for sure and to also be mellow and take my time with everything that I do so I don’t make mistakes like I used to and it really does work for me and has helped my ADHD quite a bit and also helps my stress levels as well so I don’t ring people’s necks when I have a bad day haha 😂 cannabis I believe is a substance that doesn’t show you everything all at once in just one day ... no ! It slowly shows you the entire big picture throughout a long period of time instead so it’s not too overwhelming cuz our brains will not retain all that info at once that’s why nobody remembers their entire trip cuz it’s way too much info flooded into our minds and we can’t even process half of it. And that’s why I love cannabis because it has slowly shown me things and has allowed me to retain the information as well cuz it’s not too much at once and at the same time it just really mellows me out during these messed up dark times we’re stuck dealing with in the world which I find to be very unfortunate and very sad as well ! The funny thing is that everything I have predicted has come true to the tee 100% and I write it all down way before it happens and when it does happen I pull out my notebook and show everyone I know as proof that cannabis opened up my mind to allow me to see what is gonna happen later down the road and I’m so accurate that it legit scares me sometimes because I’m nobody special at all yet I can accurately predict things all the way down to the most minute details such as me knowing it’s gonna be a windy day when this or that happens and a white car is gonna drive by with a sticker on the back window while I’m smoking a cigarette listening to a certain song ! Those are the little details I get visions of after I smoke and I’ve proved to everyone I know how accurate I am with my random visions I get and it’s fuckin scary sometimes and sometimes I don’t want this gift but at the same time it’s saves my life more times than it’s harmed me

Thanks for sharing this! I'm interested whether you had any complex visuals. Two things I remember from my first trip: I spent hours on the floor staring at a plain, blue carpet. I could see each individual fibre, they were multicoloured and wouldn't stay still. All of a sudden, it was the most beautiful carpet I had ever seen, and I couldn't figure out how I'd only just noticed it. Secondly, I felt overwhelmingly at peace with things. I realised this only when some neighbours came home from a night out shouting and arguing - in my mindset I couldn't possibly fathom how anyone would want to shout or argue, I was somehow in a place where negativity did not make any sense to me. I also completely resonate with your claim that your life will never be the same. Knowing that place exists, that mindset, but trying to recall it from your normal human brain is difficult and frustrating. Like you say, it cannot be described!

I feel like sounding like I hippie is a turn off for people making them not want to do these drugs or they think you’re just trying to sound like this deep thinker, but really it’s just the way it feels when you do these drugs. It just makes you perceive the world in a certain way and people tend to describe the experiences in similar ways. Which in turn makes you sound like you’re just trying to sound like this hippie. “We’re all one, look at the colors, life is beautiful” it sounds like you’re trying to sound poetic and sound like a hippie but they really make you perceive the world in this way.

Too many people just waste a lot of energy worrying about their self-image and other people's opinions. Words and opinions are mere tags we continually attach onto things, people and every-effing-thing. So why care about being called a hippie? Why care about other people tagging us? Thanks for this. I had similar experiences with psychedelics 40 years ago.
That many years later, the lasting value was learning that I was capable of such profound, joyful connection to everything. Showed me we live our conscious, sober lives inside a little box of our assumptions and expectations but are capable of expanding outside that box into something bigger and more meaningful.
Since we can't stay in that state, the gift may be not just in the experience but in a consequent determination to approximate that meaning in smaller, less intense ways while sober. Immersive pursuit of passionate interests, meditation and intense exercise have brought smaller doses of that for me.
Respectfully, my hopes for you and others:
    1) You sounded slightly apologetic about the experience or perhaps the way you described it. Don't be. Own it. Claim it. Savor it. You were given a great gift. You are right that words don't adequately describe it. That is true of all mountain-top experiences. I am similarly incapable of adequately describing the birth of my children or the realization of a long-held dream.
    2) Use it as a kind of template. Find smaller, more everyday ways to seek meaning. If you can do that, you will honor the gift you have been given and live a meaningful life.

Very precious comment! People tend to think in a dual way about everyday life and the trip, and tend to forget that it's meaning is to show us things we should take back into our everyday life, integrate them into our thought and actions and thus make those teachings a permanent reality.

I have been there and felt it, and I think you did a great job explaining it as best as anyone could Kate. In fact, I think you helped me better remember part of my key realisation when on shrooms, when you said 'just let it be'.
I feel like I'm always trying to control everything to much and this just leads to anxiety (particularly in relation to socail dynamics), and when interactions go bad (or even just my perception of them is bad) I tend to mentally beat myself up over it for way to long. I think 'the let it be' epifnney/lesson in my case was the most important by far. It is very hard to remember it properly though, but when I was on mushrooms and having this profound introspection, it felt more clear to me than anything ever before.
You did a great job here, well done and thanks! ❤

(i’m still tripping while writing this) and i feel like i’ve got life figured out and I can do more things on my own and give certain things more value and attention then i did before i feel as if i’ve been enlightened and reborn into a new person.

You did a good job of trying to describe it. It's just about impossible to fully describe a mushroom trip. I love hearing about people's first journey's. I've been off antidepressants over 6 months now because of mushrooms. I had taken mushrooms years ago in college but too party while drinking. I had been on antidepressants for about 20 years and they never really made me feel all the way better and then the side effects sucked. I came across studies John's Hopkins University was doing with them for PTSD, depression and with terminally sick people having anxiety about dying. I had to taper off my antidepressant first before I could take the mushrooms. Because cymbalta and other SSRI's will keep the mushrooms from working. They won't let your serotonin levels go up. After I was done getting off cymbalta. I took a 1 gram test dose just to get a reminder of how they felt and to test potency. It felt great. I waited a about 2 weeks then took 2.5 grams let them kick in all the way and felt comfortable enough to take another gram. Like I said it's almost impossible to describe, but what you said was basically what I experienced. I cried from joy. Felt like I was one with everything and everyone. I felt like I finally understood everything! Another thing was that I was having thoughts about why different things are impossible and that from the time we start school we're told what's possible and what's impossible. How do we know something is really impossible without trying it ourselves. I was thinking about and understanding multiple dimensions and how so many things and or beings could be around us without us seeing or feeling them. It just really opened my mind. It was great! The next day, no type of hangover. And throughout the week I started to feel better depression wise. About 2 weeks later is when I felt like I had no depression at all! I had almost forgotten what it felt like to not be depressed. I started crying because I was so happy! I haven't felt this good in decades and with no side effects. Since then I micro dose once or twice a week. And take a full dose a couple times a month. Ever since that first full dose I have felt completely normal, like my old self before depression. I can't believe it worked for me, because it doesn't work for everyone. But they are having better success with mushrooms than they are with pharmaceuticals. It should be completely legal to grow them. It should be legal to grow anything for medication. But money runs the world and big pharma will do everything they can to try to stop it. I'm glad it's legal in a couple states now and decriminalized in Colorado. I think it's going to be the next cannabis as far as being legal and popularity.

@islanti you may panic..i can trip face of like 2.5 grams of good dried shrooms for 3to4hrs easily. Not sure how strong or weak the truffles were. I always tell people don't eat them like that same with weed edibles. Smoke your green and eat your shrooms raw.. things that are baked and cooked all have such varying levels. Eat 2 gs of some blue ass shrooms and you will feel what u need to feel. Then eat more the next time once u understand. 6 grams dried she definitely didn't do bc it would not be a good first experience. I never ate more then an 8th of strong shrooms. That was always enough.

I remember taking shrooms for the first time and having a really bad trip. After like 8 years of fear to try it again I tried it on my friends birthday and It was awesome. The company of good friends and good mood I guess helped. I remember looking at my hands (life lines on palms) and just tripping (cannot describe it). It just felt so amazing and relaxing. Everything around me was different - more beautiful, giving sense, mesmorizing.... After this first half of the trip we just started making music with my friends who took mushrooms and im telling you that was the best Acapela-homeinstruments music :D :D
Just loved it. I need to try it again sometime.

I love this video. Thank you for posting it. I think you did a masterful job of breaking it down to the basics. As you know, there is no fully explaining it. You just have to experience it. And you're right, it will change your life forever. Once you've experienced it, you can't not know what exists. I would encourage you to go out to a forest, or even better, the Southwest deserts of the U.S. One of the best ways I have found to describe it is, it's like searching for the meaning of life but finally discovering you don't need wonder anymore. It's just inherently understood. I can't describe the feeling of calm and peace I felt when I first experiences that feeling. Vegetation is another favorite to explore. I personally can see the energy flowing through trees and plants. Like you say, I know it sounds nuts, but I genuinely feel like I can see the energy flowing - almost like veins. Anyway, thanks again for posting. It will sound nuts to those that don't understand. But for those of us who've experienced it, it's amazing. Congratulations. I hope you have many more amazing experiences!

I believe a word that helps explain it: immersion. Basically, you felt immersed in everything. And, you could appreciate all the details. And those details invoked emotion. I believe there are all these senses and experiences we have on a sub-conscious level. But, that kind of drug experience brings them to your conscious. The reason we don't operate that way normally is we'd never get anything done! Focus would be nearly impossible and our species would have died out. So, we developed ways to still gather that information but not have it overwhelm our consciousness.

Hi, I just came across your video whilst looking for people talking about there journies. I just want to thank you for having the courage to put that video up. Even though the science is catching up with what most "psychonaut's" have known a long time, there are still a lot of people that believe the mass propaganda and it will take a long time for the stigma to be removed. But with people like you coming out and describing their positive experiences, things will change sooner. Just watched an interesting talk on JRE with Brian Muraresku & Graham Hancock finding that throughout history, more evidence is coming out to suggest that wines in times gone weren't alcahol, and were spiked with Psychtropics.
Also funny when you almost quoted Bill Hicks.......“Today a young man on acid realized that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves. Heres Tom with the Weather.”

I don't know if you read these Kate, but I must tell you that this is one of the most beautiful descriptions I've heard to date. You are just absolutely fabulous! I'm not saying that in a creepy way. Please, I'm old enough to be your father. But I must say that you are indeed a kindred spirit. I am a musician, first and foremost, but also a seeker of life in general and also going through a really hard life with lots of reason that I could use to be a victim. I think that's the biggest gift that mushrooms have given me thus far.... I no longer need to be a victim in my life. Simple yet profound, for me anyway. Sorry, I've not seen any of your other videos as I had searched specifically for psilocybin trip testimonials. This one is by far the best. Now I'm not afraid of taking an heroic dose. Please don't stop talking about your experience of life post trip. Ok? I love you. I love your heart. Peace! P.S. I subscribed, so don't disappoint me. Just kidding, I couldn't even imagine it.

Thank you, Kate. I'm almost seventy and am preparing for my first experience. I am also autistic. Your presentation is exactly what I was seeking. I come away from you with kindly insights that help me ready myself with anticipation without expectation. I'm in a good place. I hope you are well, Kate. And I also hope you become successful beyond your wildest imaginings.

So beautiful to hear your truth. I'm smiling so much, having been there (my version anyway) Welcome to the interconnectedness and colorful loveliness of everything. And I love you're explanation. Thank you so much. Hopefully more people will join you in doing psychedelics. Love and peace ✌️

I ate 5 grams lastnight it was the best trip Ive ever had.. Lost of ego, total outer body experience.. I had some very deep self reflections which were amazing.. The connection you feel to the earth is absolutely breath taking and will leave you awe of nature.. My recommendation for any first timers is dont fight the feeling, let the shrooms take you to where it wants you to go

you explained the shroom trip exactly as it should be explained ! there are no words to explain the trip only the feeling. Your story is broken down beautifully and its hilarious to hear all the trippy shit you went through. I know exactly what you mean when everything gets overwhelming!

Had many a fun time with LSD. Never tried shrooms before. But very high LSD experiences. Actually, right now lol. I'm glad your first real experience was so lovely. As a musician I bet it added a lot. I will say psychedelics are and will always be a double edged sword. So kate, while I do give a hefty thumbs up to the prospect of further exploration into this, be careful. Shrooms a fun start if you do try something I wouldn't jump right into DMT. It's extremely intense. Lower dosage of LSD would be my thoughts. Around 250ug - 300ug at first time, then go for 450ug to 500ug second time. But LSD unfortunately has no ceiling. Which means it can be too much for many people. It's a lovely garden in front of a mental institution is how I would describe LSD, lol. Be safe and have fun,Cheers.

I would recommend DMT over any other psychedelic for first timers. I feel people often misconstrue the word intense as being something that's unbearable/scary/unsafe. If one can handle mushrooms or LSD, they can definitely handle DMT, no matter how extreme it sounds :)

How the hell is 250-300ug a lower dosage? REAL 300ug send u off to another universe.

250-300ug for a first time LMAO. No. Stick to one tab, please.

    • @captainwonderbar1657
      @captainwonderbar1657 4 ปีที่แล้ว

@@Cheximus It's only two to three hits. It's not that big of a deal. Don't be hyperbolic. And she's not a first timer. That's what the video is about. 2 to three hits of LSD isn't comparable to 6 grams of shrooms.

    thanks Kate for posting.
foraged my 1st shrooms yesterday in the hail and rain. thought I was doing well with 27g of wet lib caps.
no time to dry them! I ate 6 grams waited half an hour followed by 6 more grams and what?
a little nausea and a very mild treating of colours. gave it 2 hours and went to bed! I'm 6 foot and 76kg . great post.

  • @gregarmstrong7988
    @gregarmstrong7988 ปีที่แล้ว

I took 6 grams all at once. And Yo when that shit hit...... I had to lay down and I was laughing so much, uncontrollably.
After awhile I was able to get up and I started dancing without music, it was like my body heard music. It felt so good to move my body. Then there was this amazing euphoric feeling that I will never forget. All through my body, emotions, spirit and mind were all aligned in this euphoria.
Incredible!!! Another thing is it allows to detach from yourself and see you for who you really are. Be very careful and research first before taking any psychedelics.
Also set your frame of mind prior to the trip. This is VERY important because you don't want to be crying for 3 hours straight.
Another keep 1 foot in reality by playing some music (piano Jazz is perfect) along side of the trip. This allows you realize you are tripping when are tripping, very useful. Enjoy.
