Predicatably by phony media cockroaches who wouldn't have the first fucking idea nor care of what disgusting parasites mafiosi were to the sport. Who more than likely lacked the balls as well as the moral fibre to speak out against them like Jake did. I have always looked up to the "Bronx Bull", I loved the movie"Raging Bull", it inspired me. I've always admired the idea of being able to take a punch and then fight back like he could(even though it's better not to get hit).He was the original, real life Rocky, but with more character flaws. I just wonder how anyone could take all of that punishment and not suffer any brain damage. How is that even humanly possible. A lot of retired professional athletes who played full contact sports now suffer from the long term effects of TBI. What exactly made Lamatta so different from all of those other athletes, why was he an exception to that rule, what made him so special that he wouldn't have to suffer from that effect.

Lamotta was a full fledged middleweight and Robinson was a welterweight in their first 5 fights and Ray still won 4 of them, even though he was outweighed by more than 10-15 pounds. That’s the MAIN reason why Lamotta was competitive with Robinson..he always had a big edge over him in weight. Today, a weight difference that much would never be allowed..fighters have to fight within their own weight division.

I dont know how Lamotta would have survived at Heavyweight but without a doubt "The bull" is the toughest Non-heavyweight boxer maybe only matched by "Marvelous" Marvin Hagler...

Remembering LaMotta? Just hard to forget him..he was really tough! It s so surprising he did NOT have brain damage.! Bet Sugar Ray Robinson was thinking - " What does it take to KO Jake?!"
