That's where the governing bodies come (FSSAI) to regulate these practices. If the product has a defect then the accountability goes to the testing teams who pass these products as "consumable".
Why dont companies adopt proper practice of washing the crops before giving to cows for consumption. Using pesticide while the crop is growing is fine, but after it's harvested it should be washed thoroughly

its failed on one parameter, and products like ghee are an outcome of a very long chain, somebody used the pesticide in the crops and this was the result. I will expect much better from AMUL for sure. And there are good products but there are also bad ones. We just have to accept it and keep moving.

The product is as pure as it can be in india... All the fruits vegetables and grains will fail in pesticide tests except those who are certified Organic. Most of the private ghee brands will fail not just in pesticide test but in purity test too.. as they are mostly adulterated with Palm Oil.

getting pure ghee without mixing oil in 700-800 is big positive about amul, you may even find the same impurity in real desi ghee which costs 1200 pr kg ,

Bro this is a great initiative, but you cannot say that 0.014 is greater than 0.01. Significant figures after decimal are important to compare, especially when thresholds are set. 0.01 can mean 0.011, 0.012 or 0.0145, because the next place of decimal is not significant
