I'm totally amazed at what you and your beautiful family are sacrificing for this cause...You have a wonderful heart of gold...just pase yourself darling boy...🥰 Love from a Nanna in New Zealand...❤❤❤❤❤
Frank i been benige watching your videos lately. They are amazing and much needed. Im struggling currently but watching your videos is changing me for the better. Thank you
I got clean after 15 plus years of methadone, fentanyl, and alcohol daily. I now live in my nice home with my wonderful family and have 8 years clean in March. I work out every day, am strong and very healthy. I am on zero medications for anything at all, and am very fortunate for how great my life is. If I can get clean after being as addicted as I was then you can too if you put in the effort. I hope you get help and get clean, you can do it trust me. Hopefully my story could help you or someone else get clean too. If you want it then you can do it.
I appreciate the support and encouragement. Thank you and iam working on myself everyday. I lose hope somtimes but watching these videos make me realize this isnt he life i want and if i dont stop this will happen. Thanks again
@@wahidjavid51 Good for you man. Take your time and keep working yourself. It's tough, everyone loses hope at times, but im glad watching the videos helpx you. I remember being on fentanyl, methadone, and alcohol daily for 15 years. I was terrified of coming off opiates. I had no idea what to expect and was in withdrawal all the time from opiates trying to drop them, and it was always hell and torture when I would. I had no idea how long it would take to feel normal after being on them for so long with such powerful opiates, so there was a lot of fear and self doubt. Looking back I am very very happy I went through with it and came off everything. We just have to keep fighting every day, and eventually things do get better just like everyone says. Never give up, and don't over think things like I was. You have to go through the sobriety process with as much as confidence as you can. My brother was clean his whole life, and didn't have his first drink until 32 or so, and he became and alcoholic very very very fast. He's lucky though because he has made a huge amount of money so money won't ever by an issue, so he's lucky with money, but tons of people with money are destroyed by addiction. He's having all kinds of other issues though. He drinks extreme amounts, 40-50 shots a day and has been in fight with his girlfriend where they both got arrested. Not taking care of himself and stopped working out. This is a kid who never did a drugs or drank until his 30s, never arrested, and is now dealing with this a couple years after starting drinking. He goes through very very severe withdrawal with alcohol, and that can be dangerous. My family and I want him to get into rehab. I was going to ask you if how you are right now as well. Would you consider an inpatient rehab? If not maybe an outpatient rehab. Curious to if you want to quit right now and are talking steps are not. Sorry it was super long. Good luck man.
Great interview with Gilbert ! I truly hope and pray this young man gets his life together because he said it himself the streets will eat you up and spit you out and the streets aren’t your friend and because he’s better than that and that’s the truth ! All human beings are worth way more than that crap and I will keep Gilbert and all of the other people out there in my heart ❤️ thoughts and prayers daily for their recovery! Thank you Frank and thank you Gilbert for doing this interview and God Bless you ! Know that Mary is out here always thinking of you wishing you the absolute best in your life always ❤❤❤🫶✌️💫😇🙏🦋

R.I.P. Aubrey Elizabeth McCarty Obituary Aubrey Elizabeth McCarty, age 32, formerly of Longs, SC, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2023, in Bristol, PA. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather; Andy Pakes and uncle; Michael Thibeau. Aubrey’s struggle never undermined her beautiful giving spirit. Her kind soul always put others first. She loved to cook and worked at several jobs in food service. Her other loves included playing the piano, fishing, hunting, basketball, shooting guns and telling jokes. Those who are left to cherish her memory are her parents; Shawn of Myrtle Beach, SC and Melinda of Longs, SC, her maternal grandparents; Elwood and Melinda Reeves of Tabor City, NC, her paternal grandmother; Sylvia Dalrymple of Myrtle Beach, SC, her maternal great grandmother; Pauline Scott of Tabor City, NC, her aunts; Brandie Dalrymple of Myrtle Beach, SC and Shannon Jackson of Kentucky, her uncles; Kyle Reeves of Myrtle Beach, SC and Trey Reeves of Raleigh, NC, Cousins; Costas, Nick, Dally, Randy, Christopher, Korey, Kylie, and Trinity, and numerous other family members and friends. Recovery is only a decision away. I used to think it was almost impossible to really recover and that most people were just deceiving themselves by thinkin' they could stay off alcohol and drugs. That is how doubt hinders people, like it did me. However, that metaphorical monkey on the back really has no power if the once addict makes that decision to recover and instantly becomes an ex-addict: having the power to say no to any nudge or pull, any craving or compulsion. Finally, after 16 years of a vicious cycle and all the mental torture and physical discomfort, I miraculously went to a Teen Challenge rehab, and never looked back. I believe now that I could have made that decision the first day I knew I was addicted if I had met the right counselor--someone that I could fully trust but it didn't happen that way. Anyway, I have over 43 years clean now... I hope others find their miracle too. Life is great. Waking up in the morning and having a cup of coffee at home is so great.
Just wandering around not knowing what to do. Your brain is all scrambled up and you just don't know how to function like normal anymore. Basically, you lose your ability to understand your daily routine because of some trauma. Usually people call it "scatter brained".
There's a better world out there, it's here, it's there, right in front of you Maaan, just stand up, live in it, it's good, you can be a part of it, a part of it, is in you ✌🏻 ❤️ 🙏🏻
That's a good idea/question. I was picked up hitch-hiking by a Teen Challenge group and stayed with them until I left, fully decided on recovery. Getting a bed opening, and keeping the addict in a positive mood so as to fight off the temptation for just one more fix before going to detox or rehab is still probably some of the conflict issues an addict helper may have to face. But yea, getting the decision yes to go to rehab and having a direct opportunity to take the addict to the next step is a BIG step in the progress of rehabilitation--maybe saving a life.
Oh, a real woman can raise a real man. I know plenty of good ass men that were raised by their mother. No one can replace a bio dad but there are men out there there can steer a kid in the right way. Don’t underestimate a real ass woman!

I'm not much into politics, but both republicans and democrats support 2 parent homes. That's not politics at all, that's just logic. Don't make it about politics, both republicans and democrats have a lot of stupid ideas and I don't know which side is worse anymore, but this isn't one of them. Everyone knows a 2 parent home is more vital for success than a 1 parent home. No person is going to say a 1 person home is better than a 2 person home or bring race into it. If they do they have a screw loose regardless of what they support politically. If you have any sources of showing people supporting a 1 parent home over a 2 parent home and saying it's racist than show me please because that sounds ridiculous. I have never heard that. I mean I understand it's not political, and that their might be crazies out there that believe that, but even that would be rare.
