CyRide - Last Trip of Bus 873 - March 20, 1987

Carole drove the last trip of 873 in March, 1987. Carole was always pleasant and conscientious and worked for CyRide from September, 1984 to August, 1988. She frequently drove 873 on morning trippers and was chosen to make the final trip.
873 was a GMC bus TDH-4517 that was originally purchased new in 1961 by Houston Transit. It was one of the seven GM buses bought in the summer of 1981 from Dickenson Bus Sales in Anoka, MN. These buses were used to initiate the expanded CyRide service in August, 1981.
