Thank you Doctor, very helpful informative content for me, as I was just told today, in a telephone consultation with one of my GP’s. I am on medication for afib previously to todays conversation with my Doctor. I am not out of breath as I was originally, I do swim at every opportunity and have recently returned to work, two days a week, I show potential tenants around properties to let. I am 74 and totally involved daily with my three grandchildren aged 6, 11 & 14.
I found out 5 months ago during a routine x ray that I have an enlarged heart. I was so shocked and saddened. I have had shortness of breath and a swollen left foot for about a year and I didn't think much of it. To get this diagnosis and to think of the impact on my quality of life is terrifying. 😟
@@jilldungo I get breathless sometimes and swollen feet, some tightness in my chest but otherwise I am OK. I am terrified to go for runs in case of cardiac arrest. A lot of people who collapse at marathons or doing strenuous activities are found to have had enlarged hearts, so it terrifies me. The most I do is brisk walks. Ah thats good for you and you are still young,i know you can make it .. My mother was diagnosed having an enlarge heart also and im worry about her. What treatment they do to you?
@@banyana6515 thank you for sharing your experience with enlarged heart diagnosis. I was diagnosed with an e h, but, the doctor never mentioned it again or took any further tests. That concerns me that it wasn't addressed earlier.
My Dad and one brother, 2 Cousins all Diagnosed with Enlarged Hearts in the past 2 months... all have one thing in common....Update: my dad, my cousin, uncle, friends mom, and neighbor all diagnosed with enlarged hearts and Afib 30-60 days post
I would just like to ask you, is it possible to be related to the Covid Vaccine? The reason I ask, is I feel I had a life changing heart illness, after having a Pfizer Booster COVID Vaccine.
@@brianevans2819 I think so… my dad, my cousin, an uncle, my friends mom, and a neighbor were all diagnosed with enlarged hearts and AFIB within 30-60 days post 💉
He sounds interesting..... I've spent my life knowing, and knowing better to trust doctors, I do everything the Natural way.... But he seems to have some decent in depth knowledge. But again I still would never ever ever trust any doctors diagnosis 🙂

My wife was just told she had an enlarged heart. But still didn't quite get this video.
I have read that pregnancy, surgery, grief, excessive physical strain and stress can all cause an enlarged heart.

@@banyana6515 I’m 14 and found out I had a enlarged heart just 2 months ago it sucks knowing you might no make it past 30.
Is there difference in mildly enlarged on a continuum of VERY enlarged? I just got this diagnosis yesterday (8/9/22) and it's upsetting.
Yes. HUGE difference

Yes especially how clueless all the doctors were and forced the poison shot on all us during CV-19.
