It didn't though. After finishing the game, you find out that after the events of 2 she was able to have kids along with Pyra and Mythra. That implies that something had changed concerning Blades and Drivers. She essentially became far more mortal than she was before.
@@TheIllustriouBlueJay well considering Xeno2 lore she’s a flesh eater meaning she’s a blade in a humans body (kinda) so she’s half and half unlike Blade eaters like Rex, Zeke and Mikhail where it’s a human in a blades body but the same rules apply but she’s taken some heavier hits in Xeno2 hell even survived being sliced tons of times by Jin in his full power mode AND SHE WASNT IN HER BLADE FORM

It is not her theme specifically no, and it supports several different people besides. But the game specifically plays it for a couple of Nia's key moments in 2, so it seems like the developers intended it to be her theme, is all. It can also be applied to Jin, Mythra, and Malos I think.

Just because it plays when a character is involved doesn't make it her theme. It wasn't in Xenoblade 2. If it were anyone's it would be Pyra and Mythra since the lyrics are clearly referring to them since it is implied that they were depressed and didn't want to live. That's what I think.
Not gonna lie, when this scene happened, I screamed the classic “NOOOO!!” and woke up every person in my house. And I’m a very quiet guy who doesn’t overreact or even react much.

I never felt for a second that she died even after Eunie said it, just cuz she’s not just the Queen of Agnus- she’s Nia 😂 she’ll have plot armour cuz she’s a popular returning character, plus she’s a blade who can’t die unless her core crystal is destroyed, and she has the most broken healing abilities EVER 🤣
This fakeout death had alot of Nia fans ready to riot lmao, imagine if monolithsoft actually went through with killing her off I can't imagine what it would of looked like on Nintendo's social media haha

In that moment I wanted to scream but I couldn't. My jaw just locked and I had my mouth fully open as I watched the scene continue. I don't even remember if I was more confused or more sad, but luckily it turned out allright... Damn Nia you almost made me tear up never do that again
You really haven't played that many games, huh? While Xenoblade 3 doesn't have the best voice acting all time, it's far better than most games in the past few years.
