- Today I'll show you the full process of how to collect Bamboo shoots in the deadly jungles of Nagaland and also show the proces of how to ferment, we collect this bamboo shoot each and every year because without adding bamboo shoots in a Naga dish it's totally incomplete.

This is the real life of all the nagas people in hilly areas. When we show bamboo shoots selling in market it's very good to see but for collecting , normal people can't go and collect easily. This is the struggle they face in jungle with lots of leech, mosquitoes, snake .I really appreciate both of you 💗

omg 😢 nostalgic!!! every year we used to go collect for the same, mother, me and sisters. we would carry them back home like that and do the process for fermentation but mom is not condition and sisters are married so I buy them from local market.
