"You're going to jail." "Why?" "Because right now I THINK you're driving under the influence...". What? This is the part I don't get, you're supposed to have a breathalyzer in your car which you're supposed to use before making assumptions, unless they did the test off camera but if they did then why the assumption? Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to defend her and her reckless driving but that part was a bit shady.

@@roshelltannen9698 They still need to follow the procedure and do the Alcohol test. Even someone under the alcohol limit of that area would still smell alcohol. Take the State of Florida for example, it has a limit of .08 BAC which equals to 4 - 5 cans of 5% beer, you would certainly smell alcohol even before reaching that limit.
0. Most likely up to 10 days in jail max Assuming she is found guilty of everything she was charged with, DUI and Reckless Driving, she will only really serve any time for the DUI, not the reckelss, because these two charges combine into 1 basically (driving drunk IS driving recklessly). If this is her first DUI, she wont spend more than 10 days in jail, with her license suspended for like half a year, and mandatory AA classes or something. If this is her second or 3rd DUI, she'll spend up 5-90 days in jail. But I think the most likely scenario is she will have the DUI removed and only be charged with Reckless Driving. In this case, she is likely to spend no time or minimal time in jail, get a fine, and might have her license suspended for like 3-6 months and also be required to complete an aggressive driving course or something. I think her DUI will be removed simply because there is no evidence of her behaving drunk in the video and she was not confrontational Also, she probably never had her BAC taken so it would be hard to prove she was drunk especially since in the video it is clear she is sober. If she hired a lawer and insisted on a not guilty plea as said in the video, I'd wager the prosecutor would drop the DUI and bargain for a guilty plea on a reckless So max is 10 days, most likely its 0 days in jail, unless she has a long history of priors which I doubt she does
my best guess is that they decided to park the car on the sand, either by backing close to the water, or by making a u- turn. Then they exited the vehicle or something, or left some time pass by, and the car started to submerge into the sand, and then the tide started to rise. The car could no longer drive itself out due to being stuck in the sand, so they left the car. The rising tide makes it look like they drove into the water, when in reality 1 hour prior there was no water in that location
