In spite of how hard his life was, Dima had such a great sense of humor! He was always cracking jokes. He was so honest, reliable, and hard working. And he was SO BRAVE! He felt fear, but he always pushed it aside, and did what needed to be done.
In later videos, some people (not Sergei) and the police have suggested Dima used drugs. I very strongly disagree. He was too smart and too determined. I'm a life long drug user myself, and I've known hundreds of others. I know all the reasons why somebody would try them, and why somebody would continue to use them, whether just casually or habitually. None of them fit him. He fits with the type of person who would accept others who use, but would refuse to do them himself.
Nobody deserved more than Dima to have a wonderful life, and a long one. He held a really special place in my heart, so this video hit me like a ton of bricks! I've never been so shocked. I feel so awfully badly about how much this must have hurt poor Sergei. He has a heart of gold, and I know he truly loved Dima. It must have broken his heart. My heart goes out to Sergei.
Now I've watched this at least 3 times, and all the other ones about him too. Sergei has re-edited some of them, but hasn't changed the fundamentals. This is an earth shaking tragedy. The world has lost one the very best people.
I wish so much that he would have been able to feel the joy of fatherhood. But I guess if Dima had been able to have a child, the horrible tragedy they they would have had to live with surrounding his murder would have been a terrible weight to bear. As the child got older and learned more of the truth, it would have become more and more painful. Especially the part about how the cops treated him as a peice of dirt that didn't matter at all.
Obviously in Putin's Russia the people don't matter at all. Only an oligarch would rate a proper investigation. We can clearly see that peasants don't deserve a thing, not even healthcare! I thought the USA was the only country where peasants have to pay for all things health related, but this and other Russian channels have shown me that I was wrong.
Of course the cops are underfunded, understaffed, underequiped, and uneducated in how to do investigations. They have no knowledge at all of forensic science. And even though they're just a bunch of idiots hired straight off the streets, you would still think they would have TRIED JUST A LITTLE BIT ! ! ! But even just a tiny bit was far too much work for those bastards! Obviously they don't give a damn if their family member is next.
I'm SO immensely angry at them! I hate to imagine how angry his child would be when they grew up and realized that the murderer got away with it, because the people who get paid to prevent that murders, the cops, couldn't even bother TRYING to find what happened, and who did it!
This should have been so easy! So incredibly easy. Especially in a country where the cops have free rein to do anything they want! I didn't even know him and my rage is nearly boundless when I think about it. I'd better not watch this any more. It makes me feel so helpless and depressed. At times I can even see why Russians drink so much.
(Obviously Putin likes it that way, or the price of vodka would be raised to prohibitive levels. He must own the vodka factories.)
