They are nice saws. I've been using 5HP version for about 5 years. Other than the start cap blowing out and a few unwarranted brake firings, it has been trouble free. Make sure you have a good dust collector hooked up. If the blade height adjust gets stiff, it is probably the bevel gears inside the cabinet near the front. They collect dust and jam up. Vacuum out the cabinet often. There is no dust collection inside the cabinet, just the shroud around the blade.
It's nice to see a real professional get a really nice tool in the fullness of time. It is a welcome change from the usual "I just started woodworking six months ago and it's time I level my game" gush videos.
I found this video extremely helpful. I watched it many times and used it during the assembly of my saw. Great work! Sawstop should hire you :)
