What a horrible ending for a character that still had potential for a comeback. Reminds me of the sad ending of Nomad (Jack Monroe). They both deserved better.
Marvel either needs to bring this character back or do something with Ava Ayala because as usual these comic book companies aren't doing anything with Puerto Rican characters like The White Tigers and Vibe from DC comics. As a Puerto Rican from the Bronx we need I want this character to make a comeback. Either put him in the MCU (which could be a good thing or a bad idea) or do like what they did with the 2000s superhero movies and make it separate from the MCU or make him part of the public domain so actual fans of this character can make their own stories about him and give him the recognition he deserves because Marvel and DC aren't doing anything with this character or Hispanic and Latino characters they've made. I'm glad you made this video though because I really like this character and he needs to come back in some way shape or form. If they gave Shang Chi one of the most obscure Marvel heroes his own movie, why not Hector Ayala White Tiger?
On Marvel’s Jessica Jones, they did name drop Angela Deltoro, Hector’s niece, so it’s possible a version of Hector Ayala will appear at some point. I do agree that they need to bring the White Tigers back! When we last seen them, their amulets were rendered inert in the pages of U.S. Avengers. Bring back the White Tigers!
Huzzah, yet another obscure 70s Marvel Magazine character…and one that I REALLY WANT TO SEE IN THE MCU DONE RIGHT! Would love to see more characters from the magazine lines covered…but if I’m not mistaken, the only ones left are guys like Dracula, Frankenstein, Conan, Kull, Doc Savage, Brak and maybe Solomon Kane, but hey, ether way; you’d do a great job.
Although the DD story was tight, I do have issue with the continuity with the amulets. When the amulets were last seen they were reassembled into the tiger statue by Master Khan. The tiger came to life and disappeared. I wished Bendis didn't mess that up.
In my marvel universe series show Spider-Man ends up meeting Hector just like he meets MOST superheroes. That being fighting first and asking questions later but they would soon realize that they’re on the same side and would work together. After that they would become close friends. Hector would also end up teaming up with other heroes like Daredevil, Captain America or Iron Man and over the years would become one of the most well liked heroes in the hero community even becoming an honorary avenger. He would also at one point team up with Black Panther to save Wakanda which would lead to T’Challa making the White Tiger name a mantle like the black Panther passed down from one to another that’s deemed worthy either by the white tiger or by someone qualified to judge that persons worthiness. He would also have a bigger part in many events like he would be among many heroes to survive the snap and fight Thanos… even if Thanos easily beat him. He would also help Spider-Man fight Carnage and Shriek in Maximum Carnage among with other heroes. He would actually manage to land a couple hits on Shriek before Carnage grabbed him and threw him into a car which benched him for the rest of the battle. He and Spider-Man would end up becoming really close friends and even reveal each other’s identities which would lead Hector to invite Peter and May for dinner. When Peter arrived at Hector’s home he would soon see a little girl that was rather playful wearing a white mask that she says is supposed to be a white tiger before her mother calls out to her revealing her name to be Ava. As time went on Hector would become one of Spider-Man’s closest friends their interactions and friendship being similar to that of Ted Kord’s Blue Beetle and Batman in the brave and the bold. Sadly however Kraven The Hunter would find information about the white tiger amulet and would seek its power which lead to a confrontation with him, Spider-Man and White Tiger. The fight was brutal but Kraven would end up killing Hector and taking the amulet which would transform Sergei into an tiger like beast. Spider-Man would be with Hector in his last moments where Hector would whisper something into Peter’s ear before succumbing to his wounds. Determined to avenge his friend Spider-Man would confront Kraven and manage to take the amulet back. Hector being the white tiger would soon be revealed to his family and many heroes would be at the funeral. Spider-Man would be among the many to mourn Hector and during the funeral would meet aunt May that believed that Peter was at home mourning. During the funeral he would remember what Hector had whispered. He would approach Ava and tell her how her brother wanted her to have the amulet as he gave it to her before returning to mourn with others. Hector’s death would be one of many tragedies that Peter would remember after that and would have somewhat of an vendetta towards Kraven for a while. Years later while living his normal married life with MJ he would be shocked as he read in the newspaper about a new white tiger. That would make him think back about Hector’s death and funeral which would lead Peter to realize who was under the mask. He would later confront the new White Tiger that was indeed an older Ava. Through there Spider-Man becomes somewhat of a mentor in the way of Ava reminding him of Hector and he wouldn’t be the only one as many remembered the first White Tiger. Years later a statue of Hector in his white tiger costume would be built with multiple statues fallowing thereafter of all white tiger’s after that. I changed Hector’s story because I wanted him to have a much more honorable death than what he got in the comics. The story where he dies is based on the Ultimate Spider-Man episode “Kraven The Hunter” as I liked it more in comparison. Hector would also be among many dead that Mistress Death would teleport to the land of the living to fight an big evil army where he would reunite with his sister.
this is a cool, classic, and culturally relevant character. Marvel's first latino superhero. Too bad Bendis got his hands on him. Rather than bring him back in a meaningful way, he needlessly and shamefully killed him off.
If you're doing history of Hector Ayala White Tiger, Can you please do history of Marvel's Ava Ayala White Tiger in your next video since no one has done an origin video of that White Tiger?
I think it is a real tragedy that they are not even considering this original version of the character to be the first incarnation in the MCU. I realized the mantle has been passed to a couple of other characters over the decades but even so I think you should do that history correctly or at least as correctly as you possibly can. It would also be one of the times that you can see a hero die. I know that Infinity War and even Endgame gave us a lot of that but still. I have a little more respect for a character when their story actually comes to an end.
Can you please do history of Marvel's Elementals(Hellfire, Magnum, Hydron and Zephyr) since they we're mentioned in Spider-Man Far From Home? I think that they deserve some recognition

I learned a lot from this video! The original White Tiger is rather interesting.
I haven't seen the current White Tiger much, but I like her too.
Dear God…Hector’s death is probably the most tragic one I’ve heard in comics.
