Do you guys know that coincidentally this movie(the Korean version of original movie) was one of Jimin’s favorite movies & during Jimin’s early Vlive (Vlog) with JK, he talked about this movie & invited JK to see this movie again with him. Jimin even wrote in his yearly profile that this movie is his favorite movie. And few years later, JK has composed this beautiful nostalgic song as the OST of the remake movie of Japanese version & all BTS members sang together & make this wonderful harmonies.

as someone who hasnt listened to a lot of kpop or girl/boybands in general but who has become a fan of bts during the past months, I've come to the realisation that one of the reasons i like their songs so much is because they all have such distinct voices. Differents voice colours and textures, singing styles, rapping styles, (dancing as well of course). They all bring so much of their own personality to their songs, performances and discography. It is just a lot of fun to listen to imo and nice to see how they all have their own role and place in the group for a reason!
they also talk a lot of japanese during concerts in japan and in japanese interviews and tv/variety shows. I can not make a claim about how good they are cause i speak no japanese whatsoever, but some of them do sound more fluent in japanese then in english
it's like they all have a very distinct musical style to them but then they come together to make something special rather than a lot of groups where the members are trained around the concept of the group itself and therefore didn't develop their own color that well.
When Jungkook hit the chorus, I literally had goosebumps the first time I heard this song. Still do. My other fave Japanese song of theirs is Let Go. This makes me tear up, it's quite emotional.
Jimin and Jin were incredible in this but Taehyung and Jungkook took my breathe away. Especially considering the fact that Tae has said that the higher songs are difficult for himself and Jungkook so major props to them for reaching those high notes

I came across this by chance when YT recommended it, but I kept watching. You're so expressive, and I loved your reaction - it was just like mine the first time I heard that performance. My Japanese is very basic so I can't understand enough fast enough to get the full meaning without the translation but I saw you feeling what I was feeling, especially your reaction to Jimin's vocal tone. This performance has a lower production value than many of their recent ones, but it feels so raw emotionally and has become my absolute favourite. Actually their vocals are all so unique and hv their own charms. Like Jimin has such sharpness in his voice tht when he sings high it just hits hard and deep. And Jin, such a mellow and honey voice and he can actually did triple high notes its beautiful. Jungkook is very versatile tht he can go every lengths with his voice, amazingly and beautifully too. All of them hv high ranges. And V actually is my favourite vocal since his is very rare. Its deep, heavy but soft, even when he hits high notes in this song. Barely anyone commented on the amazing fact that you yourself know Japanese! Whaat? I'm impressed and also touched somehow - when I was growing up (as a Southeast Asian in Europe and North America), Asia was uncool and America ruled pop culture and the world. But in the past almost two decades, first Japanese anime/manga/video games/J-pop and now the Korean wave have swept so many around the world under their spell (and inspiring people to learn Korean and Japanese - not easy languages by any means)... it makes me happy (especially in contrast to the 'Stop Asian hate' now in the news). Anyway, in this video, they all have such a mellow and melancholy air about them and the lighting is all glowy and soft... I'm especially mesmerized by V, Jimin and Jin here. I saw a comment somewhere that V was in pain during this taping, and we can see him clutch at his tummy at one point. :( Never would have known otherwise. Such a pro. And it's amazing how none of them were trained singers before joining BTS and yet they all ended up having such a high vocal range - all four vocalists can hit those high notes! And all with their own unique timbre and style.

This song was for the movie your eyes tell a Japanese movie that came out in October. They also did the soundtrack for a TV show that was a remake of the Korean TV show signal which was kind of based on the American movie frequency. They became friends with the lead actor in the series who found their song so inspiring that he used it to get into character.

completely feel you! i don't know korean but i understand japanese as well and this song, along with it's beautiful melody and lyrics, really grabbed me by my heart. it's soooo incredibly moving. i can't believe jungkook composed it, such a talented boy T_T and everyone sounds amazing.

This song was for the movie your eyes tell a Japanese movie that came out in October. They also did the soundtrack for a TV show that was a remake of the Korean TV show signal which was kind of based on the American movie frequency. They became friends with the lead actor in the series who found their song so inspiring that he used it to get into character.
That Japanese tV show based on the TV show signal from Korea is now coming out as a movie and they're doing the soundtrack for that one too Don't know when that's coming out though
