Thanks for asking! We don't have 6/8 and 3/4 time signatures in AMBER 2 at the moment, our team is continuously working to improve our products based on user feedback.
Can your development team work on the chord engine so that it recognises major / minor ninth, eleventh chords etc. It is pretty limited compared to other vst guitars.
Thanks for your feedback! 🙏🏼 I'll definitely pass it along to our development team for consideration. Expanding the chord engine to recognize more complex chords like major/minor ninths and elevenths is a great idea! 🎸
Awesome features and it sounds way less robotic. My only concern is that Amber 2 sounds thin and brittle compared to Amber 1. Perhaps it’s just the preset used in the video?
Hi, thanks a lot for your feedback! With AI emerging, we tried out voice over instead of plain subtitles, but we hear you and will adapt for the next video. Thanks!
Will the Chord Follow feature in Studio One work with the Chord Track in Cubase Pro 12? And yes, even if English isn't your first language, it is extremely important to hire an English speaker for your promotional/marketing videos!
Amber v1 has some better sounds (more realistic) than Amber 2 . I have both and I like them. But Amber 1 is (pattern-soundwise) more close to the evergreen and old Virtual Guitarist from Wizoo-Steinberg. Amber 2 has more contemporary sounds and rhythms, far more fx and a better design! The only problem is that Amber v1 is only vst2.x but not vst3 (like Amber 2) compatible. For some projects I'm using Amber v1, the rhythms here are more usable for plain songwriting. Sometimes i have to play some real acoustic guitars atop of the plugins to "glue" them together! After all there's nothing like the real thing! Finally i have to say, that both versions are very nice as a lot of other Ujam stuff.
Thanks so much for your detailed feedback! 🙏🏼 We discontinued AMBER1 so it unfortunately won't ever be available as Vst3. Your note about layering real acoustic guitars is a fantastic tip - it’s always inspiring to see how our users combine plugins with live performances to create something truly unique! Happy music-making! 🎸
You need to port the VG plugins to iOS before Riffler eats your pie over there! Ujam plugins are perfect for iPad workflow with very few adaptions needed.
OMG are you kidding with the AI voiceover? And add another vote to preference for the sounds in Amber 1. Ditto Sparkle 1. Why not "add to" rather than re-do the instrument in each version?
Wow, you obviously don’t think much of your new product if you couldn’t even be bothered to use a real narrator to showcase it. Great upgrade, but that voiceover sounds absolutely awful and is hard to understand what it’s saying. Bad decision.🤦♂️
Hi Mobius, thanks a lot for your feedback! With AI emerging, we tried out voice over instead of plain subtitles, but we hear you and will adapt for the next video. Thanks!
The loss of NKS previews from Amber 1 to Amber 2 is a downgrade. I now have to scroll through all the presets trying them blind. NKS allows you to preview their sound. Amber 2 is wasting my time!
We're sorry to hear about your frustration with the loss of NKS previews in Amber 2. We understand how valuable this feature can be for workflow efficiency. We'll definitely take your feedback into consideration as we continue to improve our products. Thank you!
AMBER 1 sounds better. I would also say that the UJAM Virtual Guitar 1 series all sounds better than the UJAM Virtual Guitar 2 series. I think the UJAM Virtual Guitar 2 upgrade is a failure.
Does UJAM AMBER2 have rhythms in 3/4 or 6/8 time?

Please don't use AI Voiceover in the future
Agree 100%!

I think it's ironically hilarious

Hi Mark, the "Follow Chords" feature is so far only available in Studio One. Thanks for your feedback!
WOW, this version Amber 2 sounds way better than Amber 1. much closer sounding to irreplaceable Wizoo-Steinberg Virtual Guitarist 2.
Yes, amazing that Virtual Guitarist is still the one to beat.

Very Nice Thanks👍

Is the voice over guy ElevenLabs?
Nope, because if it was it would sound way better than this!
I like it, but I also agree that AI voice cheapens the product

Amber 1 guitar sounded better 🤔
🔥
good

wow this AI voiceover is so cringe

the VO made me leave

The sound of Amber 1 is better
If you're gonna use a crappy synthesized voiceover, at least have someone do some editing of the text. Cringe.
