Browns fans cheered when the team traded for Watson because they thought that they were getting a true franchise QB and now that he hasn’t played well, they boo him and cheer when he got injured. It could be a combination of both on and off the field. I just think if he was playing well, they wouldn’t boo him out of the tunnel or cheer when he was injured. Just my feel of it. EDIT: From the replies I have seen from Browns fans I felt an update was necessary. At the time of the trade what I saw was that a majority of fans were happy.
