The bandaid on his eye is actually not a part of the video, he got hurt by a camera during filming, went to the hospital to get some stitches and came back to finish work.
You got the come back to "me" right. RM explained that this is about coming back to himself. 💜 It is about wandering, stability and wandering again. I knew I liked your reactions the most (more than enough to leave a comment which I usually don't do) for a reason. 💜
@@G.Rudi.B It amazes me how quickly you figure out the meanings of the lyrics *and* the videos even when you don't know much about the BTS members. When the "Come Back to Me" video came out, we all spent a lot of time debating about its meaning, but you just came along and hit the nail on the head!
This song proves that RM doesn’t give a sh!t about TikTok music trends. In a world where everything is fast, he decided to make a song which is ~6 minutes long. He once said that he has that freedom as an artist because he knows that Armys will support him, even in unconventional songs like this. I have mad respect for our leader RM 🫡💜
RM sang this song last summer, unreleased, at one of Suga's last D-day concerts. He was so nervous. Yes, he did want to do a video for all the songs, but didn't have time before he into the military.
I'm not boycotting Hybe because as a 53 yr old the genocide in Palestine pre dates Hybe and BTS. These are young ppl being caught up in performative activism more than actual activism.
I think this album has fewer views/streams because, to be real, it’s a little more niche than say, Golden, Face, or Muse. And that’s ok. I think ARMY gets really protective particularly of RM because of past hate so I get wanting to see him score big numbers. But RM has created a super cool, interesting, unexpected masterpiece. It’s a little alternative, a little hip hop, a little rap, a bit ballad. It’s incredible and getting a ton of critical acclaim. I think RM is happy with that. ARMYs support him and all the members and help them achieve success. Some solo albums just hit bigger with a general audience. That doesn’t devalue what RM has accomplished with RPWP. I think it’s simply a slower build because it’s so different.
I'm not getting my hopes up, but I think this one truly is Grammy worthy. This is an album among albums and it deserves some recognition for it's pure artistry. And I'll echo what others are saying and say that most of us aren't boycotting them. I've got my opinions on it which I won't share here, but suffice it to say I will never, ever make them responsible for something going on in the world that they aren't involved in, and I would never use their art against them in that way. I will keep supporting even if I'm the last one to do so. Love your reactions. Keep up the awesome work!
ARMY are not boycotting anything. It's mainly antis cosplaying as ARMY that are doing that, because of an exec of HYBE in the US and because they are demanding BTS to speak up about the issue, even though they are legally not allowed to do that while they are doing their military service.
That's right! The ones who boycott are NOT definitely not ARMY, many of them have been exposed as BTS antis who only want to boycott them but are cool with consuming other stuff
We’re not boycotting, ARMY is here for every one of the members. We will support them and their music. Some people want them to take a side and speak up on world issues as if it was their responsability. Thank you for all the recent videos you’ve uploaded!💜
RM actually talked a lot about being just a normal guy from Korea before they enlisted. CBTM reminds me alot of Wildflower. I could really feel his exhaustion of being placed in the center of the world’s attention. Of other people giving big responsibilities to him (them as a grp but he has the most bec he’s the leader and members look up to him most of the time). He said it also on festa, that he just wants to speak without other people over analyzing every little thing (non verbatim). I love how he shared that bit to us jn a form of art, in a form he loves. And I this is what I love abt their songs. I could connect to it in my own way.
If you've read the book 'The Midnight Library' by Matt Haig, [which Namjoon was seen reading in In The Soop Season 2], Namjoon's character mirrors the protagonist. He explores different phases of life filled with regrets or with the weight of society's pressures: being a good son, a good friend, marrying, and being a good husband and father. Everyone always expects something from you, as the librarian guides him between doors. The protagonist finally realizes that her current life is the best version and lives it without regrets. This is mirrored in the end scene where Joon leaves with Minha (the librarian) and returns to his current life without any regrets. The DOOR Joon yearns for is LIFE! The final scene resembles the bookshelf in the Midnight Library. Another interesting thing is that the book is published by Canongate Books whose logo is similar to BTS but in red. This book saved me and watching #comebacktome as the visual version of the book is overwhelming “Between life and death, there is a library. And within that library, the shelves go on forever. Every book provides a chance to try another life you could have lived. To see how things would be if you had made other choices... Would you have done anything differently if you had the chance to undo your regrets?” - The Midnight Library, Matt Haig"
If you want to get more info on where he was coming from with this album I suggest you watch the MinMon album swap where Namjoon and Jimin sit down and talk about the project (of course after you are done with the album) there is 2 part first one with Namjoon talking to Jimin about RPWP the 2 end one is Jimin talking to Namjoon about Muse
You rightly noticed that he has been making a lot of songs about ‘be yourself’. The reason for that is, ever since BTS started becoming global superstars, they were expected to be perfect in every sense - socially, politically and what not!! BTS members just want to do their art, they don’t want to become politicians. It’s not like they don’t do welfare works or speak about issues but they do it silently and don’t publicise it much. But still, people keep harassing them 😑 RM being the leader faced this the most. Do you remember his song Groin? In that he said - I’m not a fcking diplomat. There was a time when RM was mentally exhausted. And I think, Right Place Wrong Person rightfully captures that phase of his life.
This album is phenomenal! It has critical acclaim from Rolling Stone, and also Billboard. Definitely Grammy worthy, and I hope Joonie gets the recognition he deserves because as a creative he is one of the best ever! 💜
Only a small fraction agree with the boycott. They are pressuring BTS to speak up when they can’t because they’re enlisted. It’s truly misguided. And you’re right, we are only making the artists suffer if we boycott.
Not to mention they don't have to make a public satement about this. People put too much pressure on him/them. They are music artists, not politicians. @@G.Rudi.B
you misunderstood the boycott, it's not about the boys but about the company's ties to zionism, the main hashtag #HYBEDivestFromZionism literally explains it, it's a boycott of ALL hybe artists and it's mainly about asking hybe to kick scooter braun (a known zionist and just bad for artists) out of the board of directors
@@dulseokbangtan They don't have to do anything. Even if they said something, Army doesn't have to support it. That's the kind of respectful relationship we have. 💜
@@G.Rudi.Band also, even if they are out of military, they should never be pressured to be a mouthpiece for anyone else or coerced into doing anything. ur interpretation of the song is literally this. toxic misguided people wanting BTS/RM to be this or that, speak on this or that just becos they are famous, do their bidding, take on the world’s tragedies and problems. all that pressure is grossly twisted & irrational, unfair. they ironically dehumanise BTS as mouthpiece puppets ‘in the name of humanity’. true ARMY doesn’t demand anything of BTS, we respect their autonomy, we do not pressure them or place any expectations on them - whether it’s artistic direction, personal choices or anything in life.
The way I see the video is he wants to be in all of these normal situations, but doesn’t know how to act in them. He lived the life of a mega superstar and now that they’re on a break he feels uncomfortable in all these regular situations. He even feels uncomfortable, trying to be the son his dad and mom still sees him as. but then at the end he becomes comfortable after getting to know himself a little better. I think the other girl in the maze is another version of himself. It’s the side of him who knows how to love himself. She comforts him and he realizes it’s OK to try to figure out all these situations. And so the next time we see them in these scenes, he seems a little more at ease. This song really grew on me. It’s my favorite now.
I love, love, love your interpretation of the video. Truly yours makes the most sense to me out of all the ones I’ve seen. Makes me love the song and the mv even more!
I really appreciate your interpretation. I think we all underestimate the incredible pressures RM was and is subjected to. That this man hasn't gone off the deep end is a miracle. I (and ARMY) want to give him all the power/protection to be himself and do the art he wants to do💜
Died at this poetic ass guy😂😂 but so true. RM said that he was going through a lot at the time, and needed to separate himself from the group for a bit. He has had so much pressure for the last 10 years being the leader, the guy who leads in the front in bad times ( taking all the criticism) and from behind in the good times( letting the other members shine in the spotlight) that it sounded like he needed to really find himself and let go of the pent up feelings he had. This album is just so very good. He has such a great conversation with Jimin about this album, that I would really recommend you watch it, even if you don’t a reaction to it. And all the crazy stuff that has been happening with Hybe and stuff is just so crazy, they seem to always get dragged into crap. The only thing I do is support and love the boys. Antis are gonna hate no matter what, let them stay miserable and jealous. I’ll just stay here with BTS enjoying the fact that they put so much work into having content for their fans while serving their military duties. I cannot stress how much that means to ARMY, as they worked super hard before they left.
The hurt is real. He hit the camera during recording and cut himself. However, he didn't want to stop working. He received medical attention and returned to recording. RM is a real artist! Thanks for your honest and respectful reacts 💜 ARMY will always been with our boys 🫰🏼
I noticed that he leaves with the kindred spirit version of himself and they walk out onto a sound stage not “home”. To me this shows that he’s still not sure what/who/where he wants to be but he is okay with venturing out to find it.
Ooh I like that a lot! Very cool interpretation that I never would've thought of. I love ARMY so much, always making me think and helping me realize things I wouldn't normally. Thank you for your take 💜
This song sounds different when you listen to the whole album, I can understand why he said it was a song very dear to him. The album is perfect and it only gets better every time I listen to it.
Really liked your reaction. The instruments playing in the background and the details while explaining your point of view is interesting. As an artist yourself I'm sure you wouldn't like people boycotting you or your music. Same way ARMY is not boycotting BTS. ARMY will always support and trust BTS
The placement of Come Back to Me on the album is perfection. I think it will all come together once you listen to the whole album. Speaking of expecting the unexpected, ‘Around the World in a Day’ is THAT song! I can’t wait for you to listen to the entire project 🫶🏻
@@olygirl81I agree!! Indigo was my favorite album for a while, but as soon as I listened to RPWP 🤯 SO GREAT! Can we talk about how nobody seems to talk about “Around the World in a Day”?! I loved it instantly!
@@JulieOT7 I absolutely love Indigo, and was excited for RPWP, because Namjoon was excited about it and said it was better than Indigo. I couldn't imagine that, because Indigo is a masterpiece, but boy did he deliver! I'm still trying to wrap my mind around the whole album! Around the World in a Day was my favorite song on first listen, and hasn't left that #1 spot. It scratches an itch in my brain that I didn't even realize was there! I usually listen to the album top to bottom, but I have to hit repeat on Around the World in a Day at least once before moving on to Credit Roll. 🤣
RM performed COME BACK TO ME live a year ago at one of AGUSTD concerts before he released the album, he said this performance is a gift for army since when the album drops he'll be in military
"Come back to my original self" ~~ "let me be me" yupppp. for me on top of that i think he is also asking music/or the love & purity of making music without any other pressures or additions that comes with being a global artist as huge as BTS to "come back to him".... that he can experience that magic again of forgetting to shower because he's experiencing the happiness of doing that one simple thing that makes him feel alive... making music is his passion but sometimes it can be hard.. like a "pain divine". but that return to magic...he knows it's there.... "spring has always been there, i will sleep in her eyes".. he will find refuge in those moments. he does see it come back to him... after purging all of the other things that's been bothering him throughout the earlier tracks of the album.
I love the mood of this song so much. Mellow and a little romantic. I agree with you about the colors, everything earth-toned, and it definitely lends to the warmth of it all. I agree with your take about societal expectations. I almost feel like the woman at the end is his muse. He is uncomfortable in all those other scenarios where he doesn't belong, but the sun literally shines when she comes back to him. It's his peace and his freedom.
let’s be clear, RM spent a whole year preparing this album. any “fan” going around saying to pirate it (when they can get it for free) just so they can get some internet points and feel morally superior is either an idiot or just very dishonest. they know artists have no actual impact on the ground but they want to control them to the point they are a reflection of them
The way you describe what you’re hearing and understanding is so SO enjoyable. I hadn’t thought of it before but the overall tone of warmth is so perfect to me. This song and the mv are so comforting in the end and seeing you vibing with it so is so absolutely rewarding and gratifying 💜
Exactly. If they were actually boycotting, they would not consume ANY Hybe content but they choose to pick and choose what to “boycott” or choose to pirate or consume unauthorized 3rd party goods.
@stantinashenow I have no problem with piracy for those who cannot afford content, or for region locked content. But it is another thing to purposely pirate someone's hard work that you are declaring to "boycott" when you are NOT actually boycotting, just giving your engagement & money to a 3rd party. That's hypocrisy. You are still showing that their work is in demand and still contributing to the brand you are "boycotting".
I love your reactions and it's always so on point and genuine!! You're one of the rare reactors these days who actually pay attention to the music than everything else and I was happy to see you back after so long. I just finished binge watching your latest videos!! I hope you find the time to get to know the remaining BTS members too, which is V (who released a beautiful RnB inspired album nearly 1 year from now - Love Me Again is truly beautiful) and Jin (who also released a heartfelt and amazing song he dedicated to his fans called The Astronaut)
This album particularly made me feel like he's finally opened up about all the feelings he's been feeling all these years. He gets hate literally for breathing for his visuals ( which he's hot af idk why people are deliberately blind) and absolutely hate him out of jealousy and obviously breach of privacy he experienced a lot of times. Listening to this particular album even nuts hurts me (where he says cuz he has faced a lot from his debut days. The uncalled hatred he gets(and other members too) boils my blood. I wish we could make this world full of love. I hope my 7 beautiful boys will always absorb the love we millions of armys have for them . P.S. your videos brighten up my day 💜
excellent, i really enjoy watching MVs with you because you also watch and listen at multiple levels. this is my favorite song on the album - it's so warm, and real and an ending to the album (it's the last song) that tells me that he knows exactly the direction he needs to go in. this album was a catharsis for him and i pray he felt some relief after finishing it. i suspect you'll love listening to it from top to bottom - the transitions are fire.
ARMY aren't boycotting, we would NEVER throw BTS under the bus like that. I'm glad to see you're back making videos, btw. I know you'll love the full Right Place Wrong Person album. :)
This song has such a great movement from the quiet almost numbness and feeling out of place then to the warmth of the search for himself and finding a reflection/soulmate of sorts that gives clarity and also grounds you. But the ultimate ending here.... realising that you can be yourself but still also choose another uncertain path (through the door) with that reflection/soulmate and be willing to take that journey.... I adore this video - his acting, the cast, the stories, everything. Thanks for the reaction! Its an album that I can't help but to listen from top to bottom 😍 so i know you'll love it! PS: ditto on the performative boycott that really is nothing more than haters who don't actually want change but just to hurt the guys. PPS: the video for Lost! recently won an award at a film festival 😊
man, i LOVE your takes on the musics, this "come back to myself" it's so on point with RM's music and you're right, identity is a current theme in many songs RM wrote (solo or to bts) and i think it's something that still troubles him (as it does to everyone), which makes so much sense considering his personal and professional trajetory i'm proud he made a project that was so him, so personal, so "fck your opinion about me" 💟
Loved your analysis on this one. It takes someone who truly loves music to understand RM's artistry and poetry. I'm grateful for your appreciation of his art and his voice. Can't wait to hear your thoughts on the other tracks of the album.
There is a reason why "Right Place, Wrong Person" is one of the best albums of 2024, according to several online magazines. It's a bit niche, compared to the other BTS solo releases, but the musical composition, production, RM's lyricism is critically acclaimed. It appeals to a certain demographic, maybe not to all. So the video views don't really tell the whole story about the success of this album. Personally, I love it - it's so different from anything he's ever done, so let's celebrate that. AND NO, NO ARMYs IN MY COUNTRY ARE BOYCOTTING. We support BTS all the way!
Thanks for your reactions, always a lot of substance in terms of music and interpretation. Rpwp is Art, bold, thoughtful and risky, unquestionably one of the best albums of this year according to most of the major music critics, we're very lucky that such a masterpiece exists. I bet you'll take off with the song Around The World In A Day
Man, I hope they submit this for the correct Grammy categories....they submitted Indigo for Best Pop Album last year, and it was like ????? I feel like Best Alternative Album would be appropriate and he would actually have a shot. RPWP is my favorite album in a long time - in any genre.
ARMY is supporting every single member's project in their original content/format. We have been showing our love and will continue, 'cause these men have been working their souls off to keep us company while they're fulfilling their duties, and the quality of their work keeps getting better and better (as expected, BTS). ARMY loves, ARMY supports, and ARMY enjoys BTS' music. APOBANGPO.
Sorry for my english, but RM is always pressured for being the leader, thats why groin is my fav from rpwp, there he is talking openly how much pressure people put on his shoulder, if u look back to his previous work like indigo or even before, u will see that he(rm) always focus his lyrics and speech on the pressure he felt in his whole career (and also on his personal life) Thats why his songs always go to a side of " finding myself" u know u trying to live your life being inside a society that tells u what u have to do, who u have to marry, who u have to be? And then u have to constantly filtering what is you and what is society say that is u. I say that is so fantastic that we have all the guys (the bts) focusing their art on various topics like; Rm talking about society pressure Suga (agust d and yoongi) talking about the hypocrisy of the society Jhope talking about the hate and the prejudice... thats why we army can say that bts is a complete group, we can listen a lot of dif songs in the same 7 guys group, we can see a lot of different topics bringing by them. I love how poetic rm can be, we can definitely feel his heart on his projects
I have really missed you. Please react to Hope On The Street VOL1 when you get time. It was also affected by upheaval. Your reactions are so honest. I do enjoy the expressions on your face when RM changes things up. He has described his own singing voice as muddy, but I love how his tone illustrates the emotions. The Rapline all tapped into their vocals in their solo projects. There is so much to unpack in RPWP. RM has been there all along with layers and vocals on many tracks. It is particularly soothing in this track.
This! I felt for Hobi too as the timing of the release came at the heels of all that performative ineffective activism that attacked natural allies & sabotaged the bds movt….the boys have always been consistent in their words & actions defending the voiceless & social justice since day 1. To force them to show it in ways other than what they feel, reeks of dictatorship if you asked me. They’ve become the monsters they’re fighting. Mostly are antis & haters cos-playing as Army….so I’m just….meh. This is why I really wish for Hobi’s project, and everyone’s, to get the true appreciation it deserves.
@@wongpauline22 Agreed. I would love to see a re comeback for HOTS VOL1, but these reactions are a big tool for GP exposure. I’m here for the music, artistry, and lyricism 💜
ARMY is not boycotting. Do not pay attention to these performative activists. Theyre just going against BTS and LITERALLY NO ONE ELSE. Youre just fine. And thank you for the reactions. :)
I’m so happy you watched the video. It elevates the song. I’m so happy Joon released this album. He expressed himself so beautifully, and I think you’ll have a deeper appreciation for the album after listening too to bottom, the through line is beautiful. Especially if you listen to Indigo as a contrast to RPWP. So happy you’re back, love your insight 💜🫶
We are NOT BOYCOTTING. Haters masquerading as fans, are creating drama. I literally have dozens of pics showing boycotters going to other hybe artists concerts and buying merch, none of them are actually engaging their local politicians either, they're just engaging in performative activism online to pat themselves on the back. Meanwhile ARMY are engaging our politicians, and donating to the UNICEF campaign BTS supports. There's a great one supporting the children of Palestine right now.
If you boycott BTS you are NOT AN ARMY Stealing there ART isnt a fan behavior These people have turned an actual genocide issue into something celebrity related. Theyve lost the actual cause in this mess. And i wont be surprised if majority of these boycotters are actually bts haters pretending to be armys
This album has been so hard for me to listen to because it was born out of the pressure, pain, and expectations of him as the leader of BTS. Everyone has expectations and he was really suffering under the weight of it all. This project was so different from his other solo albums. I've been listening to it slowly and peeling away at the layers and the message. It hits very differently, which was not my experience with his other solo projects. Army would not boycott the group, we're not that kind of fandom. But there are always "army" fans who stir the pot. I put them in lowercase because they cause drama.
Man, tysm for what you do. I came to your reactions back w On the Street for your expertise on music and rap, and I've stayed for your vibing. Army loves BTS so much, and we can get protective - wanting ppl who praise them, to praise them honestly. And I deeply respect how you've been so honest w your reactions. I don't even watch other reactors but I love hearing what you have to say. Today's reaction reminds me of how RM has reminded us that rap is rhythm and poetry, and you showed up to listen to that. Keep going, friend! Ty!
The man is a poet for sure. Loved Indigo, and this album came out in a different direction totally. You got the come back to *me* part right, as someone else said. I liked your description of getting colors in your head for the music and sounds - makes total sense to me.
For clarity, some fans are boycotting and others are not. Everyone is free to make their own decisions about what they do and how they do it and that includes BTS. BTS' platform is theirs and NOT anyone else's and that is the issue. People are free to use their own voice for advocacy. BTS (and their families and friends) should not be harassed because they are not responding they way fans want them to. Supporting that behavior is why some will never be supportive of this boycott (among other VERY valid reasons to not support it). There are many fan initiatives going on righ now; supporters just aren't joining the ones harassing and bullying, and making things up to appear superior. Fans need to know their place. This IS about the cause and not clout, right? I will continue to support BTS as I always have. That is my choice just like those who choose to do otherwise.
@@statusboy...3405 Totally agree, but per their view, they are fans. I don't care what they call themselves, they need to stop harassing BTS because that is what they are doing.
@@YvetteClawson-u5g i don't care what they call themselves either, but when i refer to them, i personally won't call them fans because they have unfortunately stopped being true fans ever since 😖....it also shows how incompatible their twisted misguided worldview is that their r/s with BTS has become so warped. i really really hope they stop harassing bts...
@@Garnishes I definitely understand. I try to extend the respect that those of us supporting BTS do not get. However, I don't care. Name calling from supposed humanitarians is interesting to me and does not help the cause at all.
I will say this again. TYSM GB310 for your organically honest reactions. I 100% look forward to and respect your reactions as a professional creative artist. I do not have an ounce of creativity and need help deciphering some musicality and lyrics. Appreciate you so much! 🙏
You know, I do my workouts with this albums. Since this is the last song on it, it gives me a great feeling of relieve. Like, when Im finishing my running this is the last song I listen to, and so my pulse starts to come down, and listening to this, I feel like stress free, peaceful. It might sound kinda nuts hehe, but I really feel that way and also repeating myself 'trying not to be that something in the sea' So, yeah. This has become one of my favs albums. Great reaction my man. Greetings from Mexico
Awesome reaction as always. You definitely got what he was trying to stay about coming back to himself. This album mentions a lot of the pressures of being out of place. Agree with the hook being awesome. It stays with you. I find myself singing it randomly.
ARMY is not boycotting! We strive for 8 artists with everything we can. What other people are doing are not ARMY, they are people who never supported their work or understand their art. As an ARMY, I will try three times as hard so that they are not hurt in this false activism. I love your reaction and your interpretation of the song! 💜💜💜
Also I really LOVE your reactions! You pay close attention to everything and I get to relive everything for the first time again through you! 💜💜💜 Thank You!!!🙏🏽
You're right with the interpretations bro!! on point!! indeed RM was talking about all the societal expectations n pressures from which he tries to break out and be himself at the end of the day!!
I'm enjoying your video so much !! Thank you for your reactions and love a'd respect for RM and the BTS members music. Glad you're back ARMY has never boycotted BTS music. It's just a narrative push by some people who just use this to legitimate their hate against BTS and doing some performative activism, selective activism and selective crticism. They are just loud but they're basically just antis. ARMY will always be here to support BTS and the members. BTS are good people and their actions have always matched with their values (Unicef ambassador, donations, etc). We trust them, listen to them and support them. Always. 💜
I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your reaction and your interpretation of this song. I believe Namjoon would also truly be grateful for the respect you give to his lyricism and musicality-not just for this song but each time you’ve reacted to his work (and each of the members for that matter). Thank you so much. 💜
Not boycotting anything! There are people trying to blame them for something that they have nothing to do with and cannot fix or talk about (they are in the military cannot talk about another country's issues even if they want to) You're good. Keeping doing what you do!
I always love how you break down your interpretation of the music, the lyrics, the video, the artist's musicality, etc. While any art could be open to interpretation, you get the message a lot. :) Thank you for appreciating BTS as a group and individually as artists. We need more of you on this platform who don't fake their reactions for views. You've been genuine and honest and I salute you for that. And you are so right about RM getting these types of messages out more --- he and the team have been put into this box of representing their country, which is great, but it should never have been their responsibility to represent their country even in matters of politics and international affairs. He addressed this plain and simple in his song 'Groin', saying "I'm not a f0ckin' diplomat". We're all hoping their time away from the limelight allows them to grow and develop as humans and as their own person, and that they have a fresh new perspective on life that they will create great songs for once they all get discharged from the military. For ARMYS, their enlistment is a welcome break for BTS' sake to allow them to mature as individuals and be able to gain new experiences as an ordinary citizen.
Even if “Army” were boycotting anything (they’re not), I would use my own moral compass and opinion wether I would follow suit. Same in any form of boycotting. Following blindly just because you identify with a fandom is not what we should be doing & doesn’t really help causes to legitimate boycotts.
Honey, I have same interpretation of this masterpiece as you, and one of many things that I love about them is that they work really hard, and always participate in the elaboration and production.
I love how you describe the hook as warm. This fits perfectly. Please please check out MiniMoni Talk - Jimin and RM talk about their albums. In the first episode RM talks about the process of his album and how he was struggling during that time. 💜
You got it! That's exactly what RM was talking about with the "come back to me." Coming back to who he is at his core, without all the extra BS around him!
ARMY IS NOT BOYCOTTING ANYTHING!!! Those who started this speech were the antis and they are pretending to be armys! They are harassing the boys, tarnishing their image, they want them to talk about something that isn't even their fault. It's hell on Twitter, and we're tired of this harassment. The things they are doing are very serious and the situation is worse than you imagine. I love your reactions ☺️
The more they bullying the members the more we stream and buy their music, as we want them to know we are still here, we not going anywhere. Making Jimin release breaking records is clear message to them we here right by your side..
@ Yes i agree with you. There's a lot of negatives running around through social media about the bangtan boys ruining their reputation and they can't defend them self either. There are people who never stop talking shit about the bts, but true army never believed them and love bts more 💜💜💜
ARMY always support all 7 members of BTS. 💜 love your outlook! the pressure of the society that is imposed to every single one of us. & our struggles to find what we really want behind all this pressure. you are correct on people demanding so much on them just because they are BTS, esp to him bec he is the leader of BTS. it is really stressful and unhealthy, & i’m glad he was able to address his pov in this album. RPWP is truly a masterpiece. can’t wait for you to check the album from top to bottom, another fave of mine is Around the world in a day so i’m looking forward on your breakdown of the song. thank you for a great dive on CBTM.
Ahhhh...it is so good to have you back with your thoughtful and real reactions. I appreciate that you dont just blindly hype each video/song. There are some songs that just hit us and our personal tastes, and some that don't, but that doesn't mean we don't appreciate them or think they're bad. I love that you actually react by articulating things you find interesting, well done, the details you notice because you do this type of work. And it's not like you do it by picking the song apart or giving us a lesson -- you do it natrually and share with us because it is something you live and breathe (music) and are passionate about (not like you're trying to prove anything). It's so refreshing and fun, like hanging with a friend who can be real, but respectful with you. Your openness to wanting to expand, learn, and grow your craft shines through. Thank you for sharing with us.
you somehow always help me appreciate their music even MORE because of your musical/technical insights and unique perspectives of their messages, seriously thank you so much!! 💜
I really enjoy your reactions. You point out details and technical aspects that I might not catch. You are also so real in your attention and intentions.
Thank you for the review! Many of us come here for your reviews and have been coming here for that and that alone. I hope we can get back to that as going over the music is what is important to many of us. More music is on the way, which is exciting. Appreciate your thoughtful analyses!
Thank you so much! I agree with you, the artist should not suffer. Can you react to the whole RPWP album? You will be able to appreciate RM's artistry and message.
Your reaction is the same as mine 😂 I was so skeptical at first but immediately the instrumentals hit the song clicked for me. Such a warm and beautiful song, great album closing song too, the album is curated so well I can't wait for your album reaction to drop. What you said at 22:00 is the exact issue we're dealing with in the fandom now. Just because some people listen to the music they expect bts to do whatever they want and when bts don't they lash out. We've seen so many racist comments, death threats, character assassination and just flat out insults just because bts haven't talked about the genocide, all these being posts from people who claim to be armys 😂. It is what it is, hopefully these people accept someday that bts are not puppets and finally leave them alone.
Your reactions are really enjoyable to watch, especially as an ARMY with a deep deep appreciation for music and hip hop! I’ve been following you for a while now and am always excited to see you post! I hope you’re doing well!! 😊

This song proves that RM doesn’t give a sh!t about TikTok music trends. In a world where everything is fast, he decided to make a song which is ~6 minutes long. He once said that he has that freedom as an artist because he knows that Armys will support him, even in unconventional songs like this.

Yes, well said! 💜
YES💜
I'm not getting my hopes up, but I think this one truly is Grammy worthy. This is an album among albums and it deserves some recognition for it's pure artistry.
And I'll echo what others are saying and say that most of us aren't boycotting them. I've got my opinions on it which I won't share here, but suffice it to say I will never, ever make them responsible for something going on in the world that they aren't involved in, and I would never use their art against them in that way. I will keep supporting even if I'm the last one to do so.
Love your reactions. Keep up the awesome work!
It would be surprise to no one if the Grammys decide to ignore this project as they use to do when it comes to BTS, but yeah, it is worthy.
I always love your reactions, the way you take the time to analyze the lyrics, the music, the story behind the mv. Keep up the good work ❤

ARMY are not boycotting anything. It's mainly antis cosplaying as ARMY that are doing that, because of an exec of HYBE in the US and because they are demanding BTS to speak up about the issue, even though they are legally not allowed to do that while they are doing their military service.
What they said!
Hmmm..I see 🤔
Facts!

This book saved me and watching #comebacktome as the visual version of the book is overwhelming
“Between life and death, there is a library. And within that library, the shelves go on forever. Every book provides a chance to try another life you could have lived. To see how things would be if you had made other choices... Would you have done anything differently if you had the chance to undo your regrets?” - The Midnight Library, Matt Haig"

I like that "rediscovering the album through your eyes"
You rightly noticed that he has been making a lot of songs about ‘be yourself’. The reason for that is, ever since BTS started becoming global superstars, they were expected to be perfect in every sense - socially, politically and what not!! BTS members just want to do their art, they don’t want to become politicians. It’s not like they don’t do welfare works or speak about issues but they do it silently and don’t publicise it much. But still, people keep harassing them 😑
RM being the leader faced this the most.
Do you remember his song Groin? In that he said - I’m not a fcking diplomat.
There was a time when RM was mentally exhausted. And I think, Right Place Wrong Person rightfully captures that phase of his life.
Yeah!!! Always doing the best and honest reactions!! Love your channel🦾❗
Thanx love 💪🏾💚
This album is phenomenal! It has critical acclaim from Rolling Stone, and also Billboard. Definitely Grammy worthy, and I hope Joonie gets the recognition he deserves because as a creative he is one of the best ever! 💜
Only a small fraction agree with the boycott. They are pressuring BTS to speak up when they can’t because they’re enlisted. It’s truly misguided. And you’re right, we are only making the artists suffer if we boycott.
Thanx for clearing that up 💯
Not to mention they don't have to make a public satement about this.
I (and ARMY) want to give him all the power/protection to be himself and do the art he wants to do💜
It's like his FESTA speech from last year never occurred.
Thanks for your honest and respectful reacts 💜

ARMY always supports BTS, their music and their art.
I noticed that he leaves with the kindred spirit version of himself and they walk out onto a sound stage not “home”. To me this shows that he’s still not sure what/who/where he wants to be but he is okay with venturing out to find it.

Hey, i just want to give you more props. You understand their story perfectly without knowing 100% of them. Alot of ARMYs respect that
"Come back to my original self" ~~ "let me be me" yupppp. for me on top of that i think he is also asking music/or the love & purity of making music without any other pressures or additions that comes with being a global artist as huge as BTS to "come back to him".... that he can experience that magic again of forgetting to shower because he's experiencing the happiness of doing that one simple thing that makes him feel alive... making music is his passion but sometimes it can be hard.. like a "pain divine". but that return to magic...he knows it's there.... "spring has always been there, i will sleep in her eyes".. he will find refuge in those moments. he does see it come back to him... after purging all of the other things that's been bothering him throughout the earlier tracks of the album.
💜
I love the mood of this song so much. Mellow and a little romantic. I agree with you about the colors, everything earth-toned, and it definitely lends to the warmth of it all. I agree with your take about societal expectations. I almost feel like the woman at the end is his muse. He is uncomfortable in all those other scenarios where he doesn't belong, but the sun literally shines when she comes back to him. It's his peace and his freedom.
let’s be clear, RM spent a whole year preparing this album. any “fan” going around saying to pirate it (when they can get it for free) just so they can get some internet points and feel morally superior is either an idiot or just very dishonest. they know artists have no actual impact on the ground but they want to control them to the point they are a reflection of them
The feelings you get, the colors you see in your head-what a perfect description for your analysis. Thanks for making your reactions so interesting.
Real Armys are NOT boycotting BTS. All those boycotters are just performative activist. They are multis and antis .
The way you describe what you’re hearing and understanding is so SO enjoyable. I hadn’t thought of it before but the overall tone of warmth is so perfect to me. This song and the mv are so comforting in the end and seeing you vibing with it so is so absolutely rewarding and gratifying 💜
ARMY is NOT boycotting BTS. You cannot be ARMY and steal their art.. Periodt.
Gotchu😌
💯💯
Exactly. If they were actually boycotting, they would not consume ANY Hybe content but they choose to pick and choose what to “boycott” or choose to pirate or consume unauthorized 3rd party goods.
jimin and yoongi have both encouraged piracy in the past, and joon has said bts' art is not made for money. it's made for PASSION.
First time Army heard this song was at Suga's last concert in Seoul. First they performed "Strange" together and then RM sang this.
Magic!
Come Back To Me is a piece of art
Namjoon is warm and natural. I celebrate that. No further words needed.
PPS: the video for Lost! recently won an award at a film festival 😊
man, i LOVE your takes on the musics, this "come back to myself" it's so on point with RM's music
and you're right, identity is a current theme in many songs RM wrote (solo or to bts) and i think it's something that still troubles him (as it does to everyone), which makes so much sense considering his personal and professional trajetory
i'm proud he made a project that was so him, so personal, so "fck your opinion about me" 💟
Loved your analysis on this one.
You NAILED your analysis! I loved your reaction. Thank you.

We have been showing our love and will continue, 'cause these men have been working their souls off to keep us company while they're fulfilling their duties, and the quality of their work keeps getting better and better (as expected, BTS). ARMY loves, ARMY supports, and ARMY enjoys BTS' music. APOBANGPO.
Sorry for my english, but
RM is always pressured for being the leader, thats why groin is my fav from rpwp, there he is talking openly how much pressure people put on his shoulder, if u look back to his previous work like indigo or even before, u will see that he(rm) always focus his lyrics and speech on the pressure he felt in his whole career (and also on his personal life)
Thats why his songs always go to a side of " finding myself" u know u trying to live your life being inside a society that tells u what u have to do, who u have to marry, who u have to be? And then u have to constantly filtering what is you and what is society say that is u.
I say that is so fantastic that we have all the guys (the bts) focusing their art on various topics like;
Rm talking about society pressure
Suga (agust d and yoongi) talking about the hypocrisy of the society
Jhope talking about the hate and the prejudice... thats why we army can say that bts is a complete group, we can listen a lot of dif songs in the same 7 guys group, we can see a lot of different topics bringing by them.

THIS!!! Accurate and well said. Thank you 💜
If you boycott BTS you are NOT AN ARMY
Stealing there ART isnt a fan behavior
These people have turned an actual genocide issue into something celebrity related.
"okay, this poetic-ass guy" If that isn't a perfect description of Kim Namjoon...
Since when did people who boycott something become fans of it. No army's are boycotting period.
I would really like to see your reaction to RM's song 'Closer,' including the entire album 'Indigo!!
Glad you're back
ARMY has never boycotted BTS music. Always. 💜
This is my favorite Album from RM, and one of my faves overall. I got so attached to this song, and I sometimes sing it to my kid as a lullaby
I absolutely LOVE this album and just what I had hoped for from him 💜 It saved my day when I recieved it and was unpacking
Smh..that’s bs..but I’m glad yall cleared it up for me
The more they bullying the members the more we stream and buy their music, as we want them to know we are still here, we not going anywhere. Making Jimin release breaking records is clear message to them we here right by your side..
@
Yes i agree with you. There's a lot of negatives running around through social media about the bangtan boys ruining their reputation and they can't defend them self either. There are people who never stop talking shit about the bts, but true army never believed them and love bts more 💜💜💜
@@sam693691 Yes!! ☺️💜
Nope, started and run by ARMY.
ARMY always support all 7 members of BTS. 💜
love your outlook! the pressure of the society that is imposed to every single one of us.
Army no boicot nada.y RM es el mejor. His pain divine es encontrarse a el mismo a su musa inspiradora porque el estaba perdido…
WHOA,. YOU ALWAYS GET IT. I HOPE NAMJOON SEES THIS.
you somehow always help me appreciate their music even MORE because of your musical/technical insights and unique perspectives of their messages, seriously thank you so much!! 💜
no, we are definitely not boycotting. those who are doing it are simply antis, who don’t want to support their work nor value their efforts
It's the way you quickly caught on to the basis of the album. You'll enjoy it in It's entirety for sure.
great reaction as usual! love your insight and the way you word your feelings about our boys, keep it up please!
You will be able to appreciate RM's artistry and message.
i love that you always get what the song is trying to convey, lyrically and artistically 💜
I’m about to sleep but I can’t skip your reaction 🥱
😂‘preciate that..but make sure u get some rest
