I feel like the UW Flyers won because it had soooo many answers for creatures! 4 swords and 3 wraths is just brutal (not to mention the disenchants for the crusades and the factories).
I like how Mathias thought things through and i am sorry to see all his careful planning crushed and broken :( Still a good game though, sometimes you just get these haaaaaard matchups.
Agreed, he def had a plan. He made it all the way to the finals and in this match he had 0 luck against a deck that was created to handle creature heavy decks like his 🤷🏼♂️
I had a UW deck similar to this back in '94, '95... and when Ice Age came out, I upgraded it with a bunch of small banding first strike flyers. Counterspell and Powersink were my best friends.
Must be White Weeny for the win! But will be hard agains control. Best of luck on the games and may the best man win. Oh, when will we get some "Female" magicians? Would be a nice change. 🤘🐸🤘
@@TimmytheSorcerer, U/W control is not necessarily the Deck, just sayin'. People always overlook how Disrupting Scepter is a huge part of The Deck's game plan, more so even than the Tome.
I agree with Timmy, this build looks like UW flyers but is actually x-point the deck In some occasions I will take out all my creatures after Sb and win with braingeyser/feldonscane. Very boring stategy, but very effective 😎

Great games! X-Points seems like such fun

Congrats guys for reaching the finals. Great games!

True, the deck is designed to deal with creature threats. It was a perfect match up for him 🤷♂️
The deserts were a surprise too. So effective against weenie decks.
That card advantage gained from those Wrath's! Well played Jorgo!
That disenchant play on the crusade with the deserts 🤯 bru-táááállll
@@TimmytheSorcerer 😅😁
Well played again Jorgo ‘Mr X-Points’ Vanhees 😀
Thanks 😁

I can imagine. Blue and white is just a great control colour and ice age gave it more weapons. Did you also play manipulators in the deck?
This is some magic I'd love to play!
I was rooting for White Weenie. It’s so frustrating to play an opponent that just always has answers!!! It’s crazy-making. 🙃
Great commentary, Timmy!
🙌
What an exciting matches!! Well played by both players!
Congratulations! to the winner!
Crusade is an excellent card if opponent isn't playing white

Everybody’s welcome at Timmy Talks :)) 👍
What is the 10th card in Matthias's sideboard? Thanks
His sideboard is pretty spicy. Not sure what card 10 is, but some of the unfamiliar cards are Reverse Damage, Conversion and Personal Incarnation.
@@TimmytheSorcerer I know all the other cards but can't remember the name of the 10th one. Have to check the artworks
It is Conversion as mentioned by Timmy:
At the beginning of your upkeep, sacrifice Conversion unless you pay {W}{W}.
All Mountains are Plains.
U/W flyers, love it.
Looks like the kind of bullshit I run.
😂 very true, right up your alley. It's actually more the X-Points version of the Deck now that I think about it.
