When the French surrendered their capital city Paris until the Americans saved their butts
This sequence has to be one of the most amazing things I have seen....how they make you feel the city is occupied.....and the busy hustle and bustle of the commandeered building...each floor and room filled with activity. simply wonderful.
My dedication to COD franchise reached its peak in Black Ops 1, after this instalment, things went downhill.
The game is very censored, I don't understand why SS men in black uniforms have Wehrmacht posters.

The German uniforms were so mismatched that it took a lot from the game, but the gameplay was fun

Kind of silly for the Resistance guys to wear armbands with all the Nazis about.
Yeah, although its cool to see them have a Vichy France flag on their arm, the whole point of the French Resistance was to cause espionage and deception. So yeah the armband pretty much screams "look at me im your enemy!" its funny. Although they did actually wear this flag during the war, they did not wear it on espionage or deep cover missions as it would obviously give them away. When fighting like this though, it was not uncommon for them to use the Vichy France flag, Tri color with the Cross of Lorraine on it in larger actual fights. One detail out of the 100s this game gets wrong is that the insignia patches on these soilders are the correct Vichy France flag, the game gave the F.V.I. Lettering on them. In real life these patches had the symbols F.F.I on them.

@@dudebro91-fn7rz it has the cross of Lorraine on it with the traditional tri color French flag. It’s a Vichy France patch. Yes Vichy France was a Nazi puppet but the French Resistance operated out of it and wore the Vichy patch, just like seen in the game.

The attention to detail in this game was appalling. SS Kommandants in Wehrmacht uniforms, insignia replaced with generic made-up stuff, ranks all wrong. How am i expected to believe that Freisinger, ranked as a Gestapo 2nd Lieutenant, is supposed to be the new Fuhrer? Rubbish.
