Just bought a 2024 Ridgeline. After 1 month, I average high 24/Low 25 MPG driving both interstate and city every day. Very impressed with those numbers for a V6 and a pickup.

Can we petition Honda to change the push button gear selector. Almost bought a used Accord. I had to look every time to make sure I didn’t hit neutral. Drove me nuts.

I have a 2020. You get used to it and it takes up less space.

Dang @TwoPair, The push button, paddle shifting mechanism is a stroke of genius. I drive a 21 Ridgline in all weather conditions in the Rocky Mountains, I truly appreciate the instantaneous precision in up/down selection, much more control. It will take you maybe ten days to get used to it.

I have the pilot, definitely got used to the push button fairly quickly. My only gripe is there's no reason for it to occupy the same space as a traditional shifter anymore, I'd rather free up that space for storage or something.

So this video is basically everything the 2024 is, with no changes for 2025.

I doubt seriously this video describes the 2025 Ridgeline, as I could see no changes from the 2024 model year. Yet rumors are abound that the 2025 Ridgeline will adopt more of the Honda Pilot's interior and exterior. So, for now, I'm considering this video as nothing more than clickbait.

"I love my 2024 Honda Ridgeline! It is very comfortable on long trips, has great visibility, a good amount of safety features, a V6 engine, a smooth 9-speed transmission, a huge lockable hidden trunk, and a locking tailgate. It is just a great vehicle for all my needs, whether I'm taking a road trip or running to Home Depot."

Test drove one in Grapevine, TX last week. It still feels woefully underpowered. My wife has owned three Pilots including her current 2024 … there’s nothing “legendary” about that engine, if you ask me.

My present truck tows 2000lbs. The Ridgeline might be a nice upgrade for my towing needs.

The lead designer of the avalanche was the lead designer of the original Ridgeline. This is why they looks much of the same.

I had Ford picks with turbo and now have newer v8 . The v8 pulls my heavy boat easily while the turbo waste lot more gas because we have lots of hills , and my v8 now pulls the 6000 pound trailer a lot better because the engine runs cooler. I find the turbos are only good running empty while the older and newer v8 are more all around trucks. I would not get any turbos if want a work truck

I hate shift buttons and if they chat red back shift handles in 25 then I’ll buy one like right now!

Honda Ridgeline has transmission issues. Around 40,000 miles, the transmission starts surging up and down. And you can hear the coolant circulate in the dash on every start-up. Honda said thats normal. What a joke. The brakes have been junk forever. All honda does is have a few cosmetic changes and jerks the price up. Same engine and junk transmission. Check what they want for one and see what else you could get for that price. Just sayin.

It's the best truck I've had so far. Everyone who has one, loves it. Those that hate it, never even drove it.

Since toyota has gone downhill with their turbo engines, Honda is the way to go if you’re wanting a reliable japanese vehicle. Love my 2025 pilot trailsport. I wouldn’t use it to climb rocks, but far outperforms a 4 runner for daily driving.

I say the Ridgeline is the new best for mid-sized. With the fully redsigned Tacoma engine, it has to undergo a reliability reset. It can't take the thrown with its name alone. Ridgeline is the contender. It's a new age of mid-sized trucks.

@tonyllaguno4845 100% The Tacoma has been played out. The new engine sealed the deal. It's over.
