Lions fan here. Your D was straight in this game. As far as the off the offensive coordinator. It’s all about communication and trust between the QB and OC and having a great connection with the quarterback coach. You guys got 6 wins for a reason. We laid a goose egg against TB earlier this year. This game reminds me of that one. One exception is that we overcame your great defense in the second half.
I'm from Detroit but I got fam in Baytown. Boi was it a pleasure to beat both Texas teams but I can respect Houston. Dallas cowgirls can continue to get fucked. Respectfully.
We did not have Taylor Decker, he was out with a shoulder injury but you guys have the best defense we’ve played thus far. Yall offense and defense just have to come alive in the second half.
As a Lions fan, this game was hard to watch. I only kept watching because I remember he Chicago game from last season where we came back from like 14 down in the last 2 minutes. Had my fingers crossed. Amazed I didn't have an aneurysm. NGL, tthose red uniforms were fire. Probably second faveorite of mine 2 our black ones.
Think about the fact that we lost to arguably the best team in the league without our best offensive and defensive player it’s frustrating cause if this offense could play somewhat up to there potential we could be a great team
We were missing both our starting defensive ends, starting linebacker, 3 backup defensive ends, and a fringe starting slot CB and safety. Can't use injuries of missing players as an excuse and that questionable at best missed PI call didn't mean anything because Anzo knocked the pass down wouldn't have been caught regardless. Let's not talk about the missed facemask against Goff or the several holding penalties that were not called against Houston. LMFAO only reason you were in the game at all was the turnovers look at the stats Detroit had you in basically every category except turnovers lmfao.
You suck?....6-4? Second year QB? Going to win your division? Beat Cleveland in the playoffs last year with a first year rookie? No will Anderson? No nico collins?.....wtf are you talking about lmaooo
@@JMyoutube1 huh? I'm confused as hell lmao..I was actually telling you that you do not suck. I was actually defending your team lmao. I'm very confused on your reply I think you completely misunderstood me
Love how 70-80% of the Lions fans at that game were poser bandwagon fans that actually live in Houston. I was at the game and almost all of them said they lived locally.
I am truely a lions fan but i dont think CJ Stroud played that bad this game I think the Lions defense adjusted to the Texans offense its up to the OC to adjust the play calling of the Defense Texans called kind of the same style of play all game you cant do that in the NFL what worked in the first have might not work in the second half thats how the lions won. no lead is safe when you play the high caliber offense of the Lions. look at the vikings game lions start out slow in the first half same with the first week of the season. Lions is a second half team. they play harder in the second half then they do in the second half.
Nah we not gonna start selling Bobby, and letting Nick who been here fur the last 4 yrs slide. Let’s not forget Nick wanted the tight ends coach from the pats to be our OC. If there’s anybody who needs to go it’s Nick. Dude been messing around for 4 yrs skating off of Tom’s 6 rings. Giving us this rag tag O line. People wanted Rick gone more than they want gone. But at least Rick got Duane Brien Chris myers and Wade smith and Mike briesel in his first 2 yrs at GM, literally otur whole oline minus Winston, our best o line
1, don't know what reality Houston fan lives in but I know of no NFL player in their second year who excelled. It's called a sophomore slump, because opposing teams collect data on that outstanding rookie, what they did well and find exploits to expose them in year 2. CJ Stroud arguably is terrible compared to the 3-4 years Houston had of Desean Watson. Houston Fan like other fanbases don't see the dirty hits, PI's and late hits your team does and isn't called, but unequally see phantom $hit opposing teams do?!? Arnold play was not PI, Anzalone tipped the pass thus NO PI according to NFL official autopsy report on calls made and missed. A ton of Houston holding and personal fouls missed but check your team's page for fines being passed out this week. So bad the Team is having a 3rd player only team meeting 😅
@11:05 this INT should been called a safety, he caught the ball at the 3-4 yardline but went falling back into his own endzone before being touched down. He wasn't forced except by his own momentum.
This is a team that had to have 9 games of subpar o-line play before they finally made a move and benched Green, and that was because he was injured.. They are not going to fire Slowick during the season, if at all.
You ppl are the embarrassment of texas as fans, the Texans DOMINATED THE LIONS AND EXPOSED THEM, Dominated them the whole game and in time of having the ball. This game was clearly rigged, if they calk the pass interference call on the lions texans win that game controlling the last minute of the game. You don't talk the truth you talk a lot if bs. They thought the lions was going to blow out the texans, we shut there running game down and kept them in check the whole game, something else played into this game, straight up. On a crucial play and pass interference on the lions no call??!!! Stop it wit the non sense.
And what about the late helmet hit on Goff? Monty was tackles out of bounds. Missed calls go both ways. You guys looked great defensively and did in fact shut down our run game the 1st half. I give mad credit to the Texans. They remind me of us a year or two ago. Get off the missed call shit though. Missed calls go both ways. Plus if you get 5 interceptions and don't capitalize on them that's on you. For the longest time people told us Lions fans bitching about calls to not let it come down to one call and now I must say the same to you. I agree refs ruin games and there's some bullshit game changing calls, but this isn't one of them. You're coping.
@dtown313 you can what you want to, the league is rigged and scripted and works off numbers, the Texans dominated the lions completely as a fact, trust it was big bets on that game and no one wanted to see the Texans humiliate the lions bet that. Texans dominated them ho3s, straight up.
False. How were Texans dominating the whole game with so many 3rd and long situations. ? That no call for pass interference is understandable. As it was a very close call and another lions player was going for the ball and all 3 collided . It was hard to get a good eye on pass interference in real time. Texans offense truly struggled to move the ball and get points off of 5 takeaways. To not score 30 is something to be ashamed of. Lions score 40 plus on 5 takeaways and I’m being generous😂. Hous’ running game got stonewalled in the 2nd quarter. And two ints don’t help. Time of possession means nothing if the lions can score very quickly running or passing with explosive plays.
@malikshabazz3839 look the league is rigged it always has been, that was a clear pass interference, they showed her was hit in the back before, that's pass interference brah, why didnt they call that, cuz if betting numbers, there was big money on that game first the lions yo blowout the Texans and I know this for a fact. All I'm saying is no body expected the Texans to handle the lions you take brown away they are trash playing on a weak schedule just like the chiefs ain't Shid weak schedule, that's the league brah. I didn't think the Texans was going to be able to hold out but they did a great job against them. We still good in our standing will finish 13 and 4 12 and 5, ppl try to look past the Texans handle that a__, had we got that pi we win, and betting odds are fk'd. That's all I'm saying. Texans wasn't going to put up big number scoring, they score on tank game over, they get the pi, run the ball drain the clock, kick the goal wit seconds left we win hit the field goal game over.

3 of goffs ints were ehhh... his last two were on him for sure tho
I can’t even watch it big dawg 😫😫😫😫😫 ima like it tho 👍🏾
Lmaoooooo
@ lol fr man this one hurt, ZERO 2nd half points smfh
Anzalone tipped the ball negating pass interference.
Exactly, it made the pass uncatchable as well .. but you’re right that’s why it wasn’t called

I think it was a beautiful ending

I 100% agree
We suck again 😪
As a lions fan good game man. Tbh I guys looked like a top 5 team against us in the first half
U guys

Look on the bright side. We beat the titans, and our next two games are against the jaguars and colts. My lions OWN the AFC SOUTH.
Love how 70-80% of the Lions fans at that game were poser bandwagon fans that actually live in Houston. I was at the game and almost all of them said they lived locally.
It was grand
......Lions fan.
Texan OL guy wanted to get a forced fumble and fumble recovery... job done.
on the bright side those red uni's were fire, they should make those red helmets permanent.
The glare was insane tho
Maybe in matte would be fire
i blame a lot of the offense on demeco, he says he wants the offense to take the 3 points and i bet that’s why slowik has to be so conservative
it ok i still carry the pain i felt in the nfc championship game with me today
That would've been a PI but the ball was tip so even if the ref threw a flag it woulda been pickup...
16:34 the pain in this laugh😂

BTW thar wasn’t I because they tipped it.
Lions kings of the north coming for that number one seed

DeMeco has more faith in Fairbairn than he does in CJ. And DeMeco plays not to lose instead of playing to win. That is the Texans way
That’s saying a lot tbh
First!
Second
Trash team 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Any news on the Texans firing Bobby?
This is a team that had to have 9 games of subpar o-line play before they finally made a move and benched Green, and that was because he was injured.. They are not going to fire Slowick during the season, if at all.
Zero
Stroud has been the third worst QB in the league over the last month. I think that qualifies as "sophomore slump". Hopefully he can turn it around.
okay relax
