I'm going to say it. There's a difference in someone just showing you how to do a trick step by step and then someone who shows you but also educates skaters in the history of the trick and why we do it the way we do and how you can mix it into other tricks and just have fun. I've seen alot of TH-cam skaters teach but none of them actually educate and I think as a skater you should know the history of the tricks and the past...just makes you and all around good skateboarder. I can't tell you how many times I've skated with people and they don't know about the history or some of the legends in skating. So thank you for educating the new generation. Sorry braille but step your game up!!!!!!

I’ve been skating street for like 15 years and always avoided transition cus it really didn’t gel with my brain. This channel has changed the way I think about the physics of skating and has seriously helped me push through my old skill plateau. Ideas like the rainbow, finding lines, not bailing early, understanding the mechanics of heel and toe sides of the trucks have all been revolutionary.

@@SkateparkLessons Hi there, thx for answering. I am 46 and recovering from 2 foot surgeries back 2 back. I did build a large 3ft mini ramp in my garage and slowly getting my rehab'/physio therapy back on. It's like I have to start from scratch again. I am scared of every f*** thing and my front foot (and overall body) mobility is down to 50%, still limping when walking kinda thing. I m re learning classics and currently choking on frontside 5-0 and frontside salad grind, Which I had unlocked before my accident. I also have new trucks, so I don't have any grooves to lock on when I m pivoting and grinding. Confidence back to zero on many levels but working on it. I ve watched a lot of your tutorials, they are very well done, lots of good advices and overall good vibes. That made me progressed a bit, like BS ollies and such. I don't think you made a video just about FS/BS 5-0 grinds, any types of nose grinds, crooked and salad grinds, that d be sick (I mean, ever sicker than what you already did). This is a well instructed video for FS & BS Ollie's. The only one I've ever seen this good was Andy McDonald's How to Transitions back in 1999. I'm still stuck with my 70's early grabs so I'll be using these instructions for the next few months at the park.

I've always done ollies on transition, no matter how high the ramp was, but I couldn't take them too far up from the coping or I would hang up, but thanks to this video I realised I was poping way to early and no I can get them as high as I want. Thank you Skate Park Lessons :)

first time seeing your content and honestly, you just seem like a super cool guy, great content but also just your energy and enthusiasm! I've been skating street for a while now and just recently got over my fear of quarters, learned how to do front and back carves and little 5-0's and stuff, this is the next step when im going to the skatepark next time :D

Only ever been able to do backside airs by riding straight into a transition, and always fell when I came at an angle. But, after watching this I am realizing that just as you pop you scoop your board a little bit to get the rotation started. I'm excited to try this now, and maybe even finally do frontside airs.
