Jehovah's Witnesses cancel Gospel and Grace!

  • Jehovah's Witnesses, despite self-identifying as a Christian group, have bizarrely removed the words 'gospel' and 'grace' from their 'The New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures'. These words don't even appear in the NWT glossary of Bible terms. They have also removed these beautiful English language words full of rich spiritual meaning from their teachings and vocabulary entirely, replacing them with more ambiguous terms such as 'good news' and 'undeserved kindness'. Why? What are the effects? And on whose authority?
Cited verses: Acts 20:24; Mark 1:1; 1.Corinthians 9:12,18; 2.Corinthians 9:8; Philippians 2:12,13; Acts 4:10-12. Apart from one use of NWT all quotes are from NKJV or NIV.

I am three years since reading both of Ray Franz’s books and becoming fully awake to the fact that my whole life spanning parts of 7 decades, has all been based on lies. Thankfully, I did not lose my longing for relationship with God so I have kept reading the Bible and for 2 years have been included in a small online group of Christians where I have gotten some wonderful education about the history of Christianity, early church fathers and how Christianity did not die out after the first century. This was exciting to me because it opens up nearly 2,000 years of teaching that builds faith in God!😊 I have grown these last few years and attend online sermons on Sundays. I have a very dear elderly PIMI family member who depends on me. As long as that circumstance exists, I wish to avoid being DF. When that changes I will be seeking to join a local church. For now, I depend on Christians who have a ministry on TH-cam. I am grateful, Samantha, for you sharing your personal experiences of the Holy Spirit operating in you. I am currently reading a newer book called “ Knowing The Spirit” by Costi Hinn. It is helping me to learn more about God, the Holy Spirit. God Bless You, Samantha❤🤗

@@jahtruthdefenderyou missed the point of my video entirely but thank you for watching. JWs teach salvation by works that benefit the brothers building a property empire with free labour. Their teachings are not backed up by the Bible. They had to change the NWT to make it fit which is a sin against the Holy Spirit. 2 different gospels
[1] In (the gospel of Christ), Apostle Paul says that (Today) is the day of salvation =2CORINTHIANS 6:2. You are saved by believing in Jesus, death, burial and resurrection =1CORINTHIANS 15:1-4. This gospel (has) went out to all the world and we are bearing the fruit of it = Colossians 1:5,6,23/Rom 1:8/Rom 10:18
These three thousand believers =Acts 2:41
And these five thousand believers =Acts 4:4
A lot of these thousands of believers were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word = Acts 8:4
*In (this gospel of Christ), God the Father in Christ (has) forgiven you = Ephesians 4:32
[2] In (the gospel of the kingdom of heaven approaches) = Matthew 4:17. Israel must endure unto the end to be saved = Matthew 10:22/Matthew 24:13. This gospel (will) be preached in all the world and then the end will come = Matthew 24:14. This gospel (will) continue in the future.
*In (this gospel of the kingdom of heaven approaches), the Father (will not) forgive your trespasses =Matthew 6:15
We need to rightly divide the word of truth to see this = 2Timothy 2:15 King James bible.
The gospel of Christ is in 1Cor 15:1-4. (This gospel was a mystery) =Ephesians 6:19/Romans 16:25,26
Before Jesus death, Jesus and the 12 apostles were (not) preaching the gospel of Christ in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. They were preaching the gospel of the kingdom of heaven approaches exclusively only to Israel.
Not even Satan and his angels know about the gospel of Christ before Jesus death = 1Cor 2:8
In Galatians 1:7,8 the gospel of the Kingdom of heaven approaches is not in view here, it's not our message to the lost souls today. The gospel of Christ, was a Mystery = Romans 16:25,26/Ephesians 6:19

It’s all about putting trust into Jesus Christ and having a personal relationship with Him for our salvation, since He is God!

Rejection of the body and blood of Christ. They make Jesus is an angel, they make satan a god. Etc. God's grace is undeserved "or it would no longer be grace" (Rom 11:6).
At Acts 8:35, "Good news about Jesus" is far more common than "gospel of Jesus".
    UNDESERVED KINDNESS
The CEV has "undeserved kindness" at John 1:17, Rom 5:2, 11:6, Gal 2:9,21, 6:16, Heb 4:16, 13:9, 1 Pet 5:10, and "much better than we deserve" at Rom 3:24.
Good News Bible has "undeserved gift" at Rom 5:16.
Passion Bible has "undeserved kindness/favor" at Gal 1:3; 2 Cor 1:2.
Williams has "undeserved favor" at Rom 3:24.

Salvation is only in the name of the Lord Jesus and not Jehovah:
Act 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Jehovah's name is not in the New Testament, why?
Mark 14:62 NWT use "I am" but in John 8:58 they change it "I have been", why? It's the same Greek word - egō eimi.
    Another examples:
    John 10:11 New world translation:
    I am the fine shepherd…
    ᾿Εγώ εἰμι ὁ ποιμὴν ὁ καλός…
    John 14:6 NWT:
Jesus said to him: “I am the way…
    λέγει αὐτῷ Ἰησοῦς ᾿Εγώ εἰμι ἡ ὁδὸς…
    Revelation 1:8

@@wideawake333 That is true - But here is the problem: It is one thing to say that we suspect, we assume, we conclude, that Jehovah is the name of God. It is another to claim without a doubt (as JWs do) that Jehovah IS the right and true and proper name of God and _must_ be used. Also - and this is not small: if Jehovah is truly and definitely the name of God, then where and when and how did the WTS discover the correct vowels?
There is also this - and this is BIG: In the introductory material in the Interlinear Translation of the Greek Scriptures published by the Watchtower Society, on page 23 of the 1969 edition, it says: "While inclining to view the pronunciation 'Yahweh' as the more correct way, we have retained the form 'Jehovah' because of people's familiarity with it since the 14th century."
Let's be clear about this: They're pretty much saying, "Even though 'Yahweh' is more correct, since everybody's familiar with 'Jehovah', we might as well keep on using it".
For a group that has made and still makes such a HUGE deal about Jehovah being the true and proper name of God and must be used, that really doesn't make sense.
Or, what about another Watchtower publication, "Aid to Bible Understanding", which says on page 885 of its 1971 edition that Yahweh is "the most likely pronunciation" of the Hebrew letters YHWH.
      Same point as before.
If Jehovah's Witness leaders were saying almost 50 years years ago that "Yahweh" is the more correct pronunciation, then why has not the organization started calling itself "Yahweh's Witnesses"? Shouldn't they be using the correct pronunciation? Even the JW masters admit that "Jehovah" isn't correct.
Here's another quote from the JW "leaders": "Yahweh . .. is admittedly superior to Jehovah. 'The wrong spelling Jehovah occurs since about 1100' and then it offers its arguments in favor of Yahweh as the correct and original pronunciation." (Let Your Name Be Sanctified, Jehovah's Witnesses, p 16-20)
See the words "wrong spelling" there? That is an absolutely huge admission on the part of your masters!
So - What we have so far is this - The JW "leaders" have stated that....
      - "Jehovah" is "the wrong spelling.”
      - The single biggest reason given for the JWs still using it because it's familiar/popular.
      - "Yahweh" is stated to be "the more likely", "the more correct" and "admittedly superior to "Jehovah".
Here's another quote from the JW "leaders": "The first recorded use of this form [Jehovah] dates from the thirteenth century C.E. Raymundus Martini, a Spanish [Roman Catholic] monk of the Dominican Order, used it in his book Pugeo Fidei of the year 1270 C.E." (Aid To Bible Understanding, 1971, p. 884-5).
So - The word "Jehovah" was made by a Roman Catholic monk in the middle ages. So, whenever any JW insists and demands about the word being the true and proper name of God and must be used, they are insisting and demanding using a word that came by way of someone who was a _very_ devoted member of the Roman Catholic Church...which they totally despise and condemn.

Put your faith in Jesus Christ who died for our sins according to the scriptures, was buried and rose again the third day according to the scriptures. Jesus is the ONLY way, to heaven, He is the Truth and the Life. Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. 👉 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus 👉and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, 👉YOU WILL BE SAVED (Romans 10:9)
Our good deeds do not out-weigh the bad. God is a judge and He is Just. We have to pay for the bad we have done: lying, stealing, using Gods name in vain. If you believe Jesus took 100% of the punishment you deserve when He died on the cross, then how much punishment is left for you? That was 2000 years ago friends. Jesus died for your past sins, present sins and future sins. If today you believe Jesus took 100% of the punishment you deserve, then where do you go when you die? But if you do not belive that Jesus took 100% of the punishment you deserve, then you have to pay for your own punishment in hell. Believe in Jesus, repent repent repent. 👉The gift of God is eternal life through FAITH ALONE in Jesus Christ and that is good news.
