Illinois Railway Museum 6/9/24

A day at the Illinois Railway Museum On Sunday June 9th, 2024. This was my 3rd trip to IRM in 2024. The museum also had a steam engineer experience event running the Shay 5 on several throttle time running sessions while Frisco 1630 pulled a steam coach train. Northwestern rapid transit car 24 also operated substituting for cars 1797 and 1268 because of mechanical issues, and a CTA streetcar 3142 was also running as well.
