if you're curious about the statistics of how much english is sung throughout all the songs, i was too and (tried to) calculate the percentages. the numbers might be a little off though... i'm not a mathematician, just a curious dumbass who has WAY too much free time docs.google.com/document/d/12ssyvxjZwKOSzEJSoSdtg9Z-I76Cum76_mT91K7ZH9A/edit?usp=sharing if you don't want to read the whole thing, here are the highlights: - noir bouquet has the most english in their songs out of all the bouquets (who would've guessed lmao), with almost a third of the total duration of all their songs being in english (if you include the all so bad solo versions, then it's about two-fifths english) - after noir is red, then blue. both have less than 5% of the total duration of all their songs being in english - noir's english makes up close to 10% of all songs and close to 70% of all english sung (if you include all currently released solo versions, then it's about 11% and 72%, respectively) - the characters who sing the most english (individually) in bouquet-specific songs are hallritt/merold, klarkstella, and chaco - the top 3 characters who sing the most english across ALL songs (including bouquet of wishes) are badobarm, chaco, and tuxam tldr: if you were to listen to every fragmem song that has been released as of me writing this, about 10% of what you're listening to would just be noir bouquet singing in english
Thanks to tuxam noir bouquet got a big part of the video. Imagine Tuxam and the other boys from noir bouquet getting hired as english teachers soon ( ´・_ゝ・)
1) Does "Noir" count as English? It's the French word for "black" and isn't used too commonly in English. I guess it is used as a loanword at times but considering the chokehold Rose of Versailles has on Japan, the French might be intentional. 2) Love how even in context the English literally does not make any sense in any of these songs 😭😭😭
noir sure does love their english compared to the other bouquets... now i kinda wonder why that is lol but it's interesting to see it all laid out like this!
@@redsunreptile I assume it's because of Ayumu's range? Like his english is pretty good and they had to use it somehow? Dunno pheraps it's because of something else.
@TheBitterLady i think that’s definitely part of the reason, but i also think it’s because noir is supposed to be the “cool” bouquet and using foreign words and phrases looks cooler. same way that some people here in the west will get tattoos of (often poorly translated) japanese or chinese words and phrases just because they think it looks cooler than having it in english lol
if i can be honest my thought actually leaned into japanese rap having a lot of english loanwords (think fake type or creepy nuts), but it's not a genre i listen to a lot of so i didn't know if i should mention it. but with the perception of being the "cool" bouquet (plus the general existence of tuxam and his VA and his lord) i think it could apply?
@@cherryy_milkk That DEFINITELY makes sense too, hopefully in this case they genuinelly sound cool in my opinion (though I think there are better songs than others, pheraps I will rank them? Dunno).
It's early in the morning and I'm not sure if I counted right but I think noir sang around 270 seconds (4.5 minutes) of English in the video? Tuxam's English lessons must be going well(人 •͈ᴗ•͈) Thank you for the video!
how many strawberries i'm sobbing
Noir bouquet has a whole English class going on 😭😭
Tuxam been teaching (forcing) the class
Idk why but the climbing counter of "hey x" was absolutely killing me
I love how it’s basically all noir bouquet lmao
Honorable mention to kurodes bug 2:50
It's all noir bouquet lmaooo
Tuxam’s English lessons have been paying off well
Just give noir boquet the whole video at this point 😭
The memories...
The melodys are choking me up ngl
There's just something I find attractive when Japanese characters (or singers) have english in their songs, it can't be just me like fr.
I love how I already knew it would mostly be noir but wow 💀💀💀

I honestly have a headcanon that Tuxam helped out a bit, since he canonically speaks it fluently.
