i don't think you can find any beats from dilla i don't know, so far i got all of 'em on this (update -- you got me on one haha), but you picked some gems, thanks for the selection.
@@justinjordan67 thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it. And are you saying that you're new to Dilla or are you saying that you're a long time Dilla fan? Either way, I'm glad you're here. 👊
Mine too. I say that because when I was putting the video together, I picked my favorite beats. I have a bunch of his beats still in my hard drive or on my Itunes. 😂
@@daysaverproductions thanks. I'm hearing from a lot of people that know them very well. That's fine too. I learn a lot from my viewers. It's not always the other way around.
Yesterday, Bobby and This is it (which is not in this vid) are the greatest beats I’ve ever heard. Specifically This is it. From what I’ve heard it’s as unorthadoxed and funky I’ve heard from Dilla drum wise and it’s beyond beautiful.
That 2nd track is 🔥🔥🔥🔥 that may be one of the most difficult samples ever.. because the lyrics are from the Beatles and that song sounds NOTHING like the beat he created!! I would love to see the making of this beat. That’s got to be at least 4-5 samples layered in this beat
@@Marvilloso Good question. Some of the beats in like the 4 batches of Dilla Beats that I picked these from were on Donuts. I think Verbal Clap was in one of the batches too. The 10 Bricks beat was in one too I think. So my guess is that those batches couldn't have been any later than '03 or '04 based on a De La beat being on it.
Yeah good question. I downloaded them some years back. I got about 4 volumes of batches that were labeled 2005. So I just picked some beats from those.
@@BackToTheBoomBap Idk like I said its impossible XD but since we are close to Halloween im gonna say Move 😂I recently discovered The Light remix btw its godly 🔥

@@BackToTheBoomBap Haha. Every now and then I do hear a rare track though and those are special moments. Few and far between. Most other stuff I've had on a USB drive in my car for over a decade lol

Dilla all day,,,,
If you put "it's mine" Acapella (mobb deep & nas) on phantom of the synths beat, it'll sound like original before they used the Scarface sample

I thought there would be at least one from the Slum Village Tour Beat CD
