These exist? I mean, I have a few pieces in my collection with beat up covers, but there’s typically a reason it remains. For example, a G+ original pressing of The Stooges by The Stooges 🤷♂️
For me the cover is as important as the music, and I'm not talking about the condition of it, I mean the artwork. It definitely influences my purchases if I like 2 albums and one has a kick ass cover, it's coming home with me
Oh, I'm not excusing myself from this. I have the CD of "Saturday Night Fever" (1977) ST 📀. But I found a vinyl LP of it and part of it was seeing the full size of the vinyl LP. I loved the INDIANA JONES comparison. I love "Raiders of the Lost Ark" (1981) , "Temple of Doom" (1984) , and "Last Crusade" (1989) ✝. No. I did not like "Crystal Skull" (2008). The only thing I can say about KOTCS is: "Well, at least it wasn't "Dial of Destiny" (2023). 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
I get the eyerolls from some people for collecting music (mostly CDs). The biggest comment I hear is that I would never have time to listen to it all. But I have listened to EVERYTHING in my collection... more than once. When I made the change back in the 90s, I was still a vinyl guy. But now that it is back and on top it is way too expensive for me and I cannot justify paying that much money for music, especially when I already have it in another format. I still do pick up the occasional record though, but it is usually something old and rare.
The one that annoys me is the “I collect for the music, not the cover” types. For me, the condition of the cover is also important.
Or the resellers trying to get 95% of the maximum discogs on a G+ cover by saying "You can't play the cover."

I’ve been thinking about doing a “Collector Types” as well, and that’s the first place my mind went when you said reseller…
@@AndyFenstermakerDefinitely do it! These kind of videos are fun!!! You could even add some wardrobe changes between types of collectors 😄

Cool video! I’m sure I fit a few of those 😂 Cheers, Jack

Congrats on 1k subs!!!! 🥳 🎉 🪅 🎊
Thanks! Been a long time coming!
Whats nutz is when you call a fellow vinyl collector "nutz" and they seriously take offense to it.
That's when you know they're actually truly NUTZ.
Ya gotta be able to poke fun at yourself sometimes 🤷♂️ the world takes itself WAY too seriously.
