    Personal story pertaining to companies using “plant based” to sell their processed food (at about 41:20)…. Last week I saw a new product in the vegan section of the frozen foods. It was by “Happi Foodi.” In large bold green letters on the front of the boxed meal it said “PLANT BASED.” I wanted to support the company so I bought a couple for my teen son as a backup. …Except it wasn’t plant-based. In the fine tiny print in the back it contains milk. Not plant milk. Evidently, the “meat” was plant-based.
    I was able to return these on false labeling.
    I’ve also seen “Plant based bowls” on a label…I think it was Healthy Choice company. The food wasn’t plant-based…the actual bowl (container) was what was plant-based and thus biodegradable.
    Slimy companies.

    I just had the impulse to Door Dash an unhealthy meal that regrettably is pretty familiar. I don’t think I’ve ever denied that impulse before, but today I kept hearing your voice and started by waiting. Then I began to think about my salad. Later I got up and made it! Woo hoo!     Love that you’re sharing so much. ❤ I do have a question though - you said that beets are cruciferous or that they count as cruciferous. What do you mean by that?
    I know that beet greens count, but didnt know the bulb does. Theyre not cruciferous in any way and don’t have any resemblence of cruciferous veggies. So does the Amaranthaceae beet vulgaris bulb count as a healing vegetable?

    Yep shea butter, cacao butter, and raw organic unprocessed coconut oil ... make sure you do not have allergies. IT's all I've been able to use all my life.

    Hi Dr. G, I was diagnosed with migraines in September of 2021 and later thst month with initially an undefined auto immune disease process due to a positive ANA but no lupus symptoms and a negative RA factor but stiffness and swelling in the joints in my hand. Having watched several of your videos and learning your story, I'm sure ypur protocol would help heal me from RA but could bit also help with or possibly cure migraines?

    Where does nutritional yeast andcoconut aminos fit into the " refined food" table. Especially nutritional yeast which is ultra refined. Should we take it out of our diets ?

    I eat minimal amounts of processed food, and by processed I mean frozen organic veggies, tofu, tempeh and Happy Camper bread company rolls.

    I was eating fully raw for three months and i got anemia all the vitamins went down, i returned back to cooked food and everything ameliorated. How you can explain that?

    I’m following your book Goodbye Lupus even though I don’t have Lupus but I have other issues like undiagnosed lipedema I’m raw vegan since march 8 /2024 my question is is that okay to eat Dates a day ? Because I love Dates lol 😂

    Dr. G, I am on day 41 of your Rapid Recovery. I have been completely compliant. After 15 days my sodium and chloride were low on my metabolic test. So, in trying to faithfully follow, I did not use any spices. I
    So how much table salt should I be ingesting to return to aNormal level.?

      You’re only on Rapid Recovery if you’re in her paid programs. Otherwise you are following the GLP/GAIP on your own. She advises 0.5-1 tsp a day but it depends on your health history, so please ask her. You need sodium and iodine in your diet. Good luck.

    Can I eat 1 pound of raw broccoli, cauliflower, kale daily? I'd thyroidectomy on thyroid medication? I was always told No.
    I'm now 3 days smoothies salads.

    Hi Dr in the case with SLE Lupus complication of hypothyorid with protein loss in urine what should we do? I. am a lupus patient since 2013but Ido not know.I just know in 2022.I go to medication but my health is not good. In the case of protein loss in urine can we eat any kind of meat or not. Please Dr G there are many people can not go to medication every time. They all are not rich enough. to go to meet the doctor.     Canned soup like Campbell’s & Progresso are probably what they’re talking about. People only know about those main stream brands. It’s better to make your own from whole plant foods, but something like Amy’s isn’t going to cause the problems that Campbell’s soup would.

      They are bad studies out there & some good ones. You have to choose carefully what you belive. Beef is 50% fat. Chicken is 30%.

    I know so many woman who are so unhappy and they have the worst Diets, they go to the gym hours a day and eat almost nothing but they love being a size 0 . They are stressed and miserable.

      For some it's all about their looks. A lot of women AND men workout/get fit/slim/ muscle build for the " public " and not for themselves. The true health advocates do it for themselves, to be healthy and stay healthy and don't care so much what the general public thinks of their looks.
