Fun fact of the day, a lot of people might not believe me but its true. Homer Brightman is my great grandfather. He died before I was born, so I never knew him. My mom did though. She told me that the two of us would probably get a long well. I always wanted to be an artist when I was young. I didn't really know that he was one too until I was nine. I didn't really realize I would be coincidentally following in his footsteps. I know for a fact that a LOT of people will not believe me. I don't talk about it a lot because I just want to stay humble about it.
Awesome! Thanks for posting this. I found a Homer Brightman story sketch at an estate sale a few months ago and have been looking for anything about him since. Suddenly his autobiography pops up and now this! Very exciting.
