Nobody got ripped off! You can’t even find these vans for sale and just listen to that baby per! Absolutely gorgeous van! I had a 86 vendura I sold for $900 because it needed a tranny. It was in great condition other then the tranny. What a mistake I made. Only vehicle I miss

@@ThePerfectSeason1972 Somebody stole it when I was at Mardi Gras in 1976. The 74 was plain jane so after I lost it I ordered a new 76 the way I wanted it which was fully loaded including the 400 ci engine and it cost $5250.00.

Does anyone know where to get a grille for a 1985 Chevy Van G-20 ? Does anyone custom
    Make them?

Check out LMC. They cover trucks mostly, but they have some van stuff. I got all new door weather stripping for mine.

You obviously don't know how a free market economy works. An item is worth what somebody is willing to pay for it, nothing more nothing less. That is a very clean , classic Van with some very pricey parts. An aftermarket fuel injection system like that cost's 2K just by itself, not including what is invested in the motor.

@@StumpyVanLife I own a nice LS swapped '75 g10 shorty with upgraded suspension & brakes. Also a LS swapped '65 c10. Those old gas guzzling engines & suspensions are junk.

      I think that’s a pretty fair price.
Especially for a “Classic “ desirable vehicle that looks to be in pristine shape.
What does an ugly new bare bones plastic disposable van go for? About $55,000.00
      I have a 1987 G10 Camper Van, it’s nearly pristine I paid $4,500.00 for it about 7 years ago.
I refurbished the inside, and just painted the bumpers, grill and hubcaps with aluminum spray paint,( which actually looks amazing).
I posted it on Craigslist & Facebook Marketplace asking $15,000.00 , just to see what would happen.
I was bombarded with offers ,and had a bidding war going on over it. The last offer was $19,000.00.
I took the post down, it was only up for “Two Days”.
These Old Chevy Vans are Gold Mines, especially camper vans as people are buying them to live in.
Look up Van Life on TH-cam, it’s crazy.
