    Your voice was like a resounding chorus heralding the richness of our Caribbean Culture in song and dance. Your spirit will live on in the works of many. May eternal light shine upon you and may you rest in peace.

    I'm happy that the Gleaner saw it fit to honour this Caribbean giant. However I'm sorely disappointed that there are ONLY 2 videos of this Jamaican icon and Caribbean jewel! I hope more Jamaicans and Caribbean persons post videos of Prof.'s speeches and interviews for posterity.

    I am simply devastated that he has passed, but so blessed by his work, energy, inspiration and spirit. RIP Rex. Sorry we never got the chance to fulfill our plans.

    Discovered Rex Nettleford--brilliant man. Read Dance Jamaica and Inward Stretch, Outward Reach. Excellent books.
