OK, some outputs test shorted. Then you test across the diode in-circuit: 0.8 ohms. That would fool me to think that it is a slightly odd diode junction, not a short.

And please don't throw away the original FBC-7. Sell it on eBay or something. I am sure lots of people would love to have it for repair.
