    I live in Nottingham and have only been on a tram once. Can't wait till the route through Clifton is done. I can catch one to school then :)

    This is exactly the kind of Tram system that would be ideal for a city like Winnipeg

      Your right. My son made his own little plan to make a tran from the airport, over the Assiniboine and down south.

    Are they planning a tram service to Trent Bridge which in my opinion is the major destination in Nottingham?

    I didn't, I was shooting through the railfan window dividing the cab from the passenger compartment.

    0:34 are the points not set properly? wont it damage the tram ?

    • @mbta3247
      @mbta3247  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's a spring switch. The flanges just push the points sideways as the tram passes over them and then a spring pushes them back to the original position. They're commonly used on tram lines in places where trams normally take one route in one direction, and the other route in the opposite direction (such as a loop at the end of a single-track line).

    • @itzmxrkomg
      @itzmxrkomg 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s not the cab, thetransporthub as the cab has a glass windows behind it you can press the camera behind it

    Why have the sidewalks( ahem "pavements") so wide in comparison to the narrow streets?
    I see no reason why more than four people need to walk abreast.
